GIVE ME BACK MY CREWMATES! WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO START OUR GRAND ADVENTURE! THEY'RE MY IMPORTANT FRIENDS!" He suddenly notices something strange on the whale's back. "HUH?" he says, looking closer. It's a metal trapdoor with a handle. "DAMN IT! PLANNING TO DIVE UNDER THE SEA!? WAIT!" he yells as the whale begins to submerge. As the whale dives beneath the waves, a voice from inside asks, "WHAT DO YOU MAKE OF THIS?" Page 14: Inside the whale, the Going Merry is floating on a calm body of water. Zoro, Sanji, Nami, and Usopp are standing on the deck, looking completely bewildered. Zoro asks, "WHAT DO I MAKE OF THIS...?" Sanji, smoking a cigarette, replies, "YEAH, WHAT'S YOUR EXPLANATION FOR THIS... I COULD'VE SWORN WE WERE SWALLOWED UP BY A WHALE BUT..." Usopp looks around in disbelief, "ARE WE JUST DREAMING OR SOMETHING?" They are looking at a bizarre sight: a small island with a house and palm trees, surrounded by water, with a painted sky and clouds on the walls of the cavern. Zoro concludes, "...YEAH, THIS HAS GOT TO BE A DREAM..." Page 15: Nami points at the island, "THEN... WHAT'S WITH THAT HOUSE ON THAT ISLAND? MUST BE AN ILLUSION..." Suddenly, the water erupts, and a giant squid emerges right next to the ship. Usopp screams in terror, "THEN WHAT ABOUT THIS? IT'S A GIANT SQUID!" The massive squid looms over the Going Merry, its tentacles flailing.
