Luffy, Marines, Morgan ### Summary Page 5: Zoro remains low near the post, his three swords still drawn, with Luffy standing casually nearby. Zoro says, "ALL RIGHT, SO I'M A PIRATE. I GAVE YOU MY WORD." He continues, "I'VE FOUGHT THE NAVY, THEREFORE I'M OFFICIALLY AN OUTLAW..." He then raises his voice, "BUT, HEAR THIS!! I HAVE A MISSION TO FULFILL!!!" A close-up shows Zoro's determined face, the sword still in his mouth. He declares, "I'M GOING TO BE THE WORLD'S GREATEST SWORDSMAN! ALL I HAVE LEFT IS MY DESTINY!" He adds, "MY NAME MAY BE INFAMOUS......BUT IT'S GONNA SHAKE THE WORLD!!!" In the final panel, Zoro stays crouched with a serious expression. He warns, "BUT YOU ARE MAKING ME BECOME A PIRATE! SO IF I HAVE TO ABANDON MY DREAM FOR ANY REASON......THEN I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU COMMIT HARA KIRI!!!" Page 6: In the top panel, a close-up shows Luffy smiling broadly and confidently. He tells Zoro, "THE WORLD'S GREATEST SWORDSMAN, THAT'S GREAT! AND IT'S FITTING SINCE YOUR NEW BOSS IS GOING TO BE THE KING OF THE PIRATES! ANYTHING ELSE WOULD MAKE ME LOOK BAD!" In the middle panel, Captain Morgan glares angrily, his metal jaw set. He mutters, "HMPH! YOU TALK BIG..." before yelling at his men, "WHY DO YOU HESITATE!? HACK THOSE BRIGANDS INTO MINCEMEAT! NOW!!" The Marines charge forward with their cutlasses raised. Sound effects "GASP" and "VWOOOSH" accompany their rush. In the bottom panel, Luffy prepares to counterattack. He stretches his right leg far back behind him. He calls out, "ZOLO, DUCK!!" and begins his attack phrase, "GUM-GUM..." Zoro, still holding a sword in his mouth, quickly crouches low to the ground. A "FWOOSH" sound effect follows Luffy's stretching leg. Page 7: A dynamic full-page action shot captures the climax of Luffy's attack. Luffy's stretched leg snaps forward in a massive, sweeping arc across the execution yard. The attack violently strikes the charging Marines, sending them flying backward. In the foreground, Zoro remains crouched low, his swords drawn, safely ducking under Luffy's sweeping leg. A massive, jagged sound effect reads "...WHIP!!!!" as the attack connects with the Marines.
