Luffy ### Summary Page 17: Nami sits on the table, holding the map, and proposes a deal to Luffy: "WHAT DO YOU THINK? TEAM UP WITH ME, AND YOU'LL MAKE A FORTUNE! I COULD USE A TOUGH GUY LIKE YOU. WE'LL SPLIT THE LOOT, 50-50!" Luffy looks up and asks, "HEY! DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT NAVIGATING?" Nami turns to him, surprised, "WHAT?" She then flexes her arm confidently and boasts, "OF COURSE I DO! I'M THE BEST NAVIGATOR AROUND! I LOVE THE SEA!" Luffy throws his arms up in excitement, grinning widely, and cheers, "WOW! THAT'S GREAT! WE'RE HEADED FOR THE GRAND LINE TOO!!" Page 18: Nami looks pleasantly surprised and asks, "REALLY!?" Luffy points to himself with a big smile and says, "YEAH! AND YOU COULD BE OUR NAVIGATOR!! WILL YOU JOIN MY PIRATE CREW!" Suddenly, Nami's expression changes to pure fury. In a large close-up, she screams, "NO WAY!!!" while Luffy sits in the background with a confused question mark bubble above his head. Nami turns away, crossing her arms in annoyance, and says, "HMPH... I DIDN'T KNOW THAT YOU WERE A PIRATE! FORGET EVERYTHING I SAID! I'D NEVER TEAM UP WITH YOU!" Luffy just stares at her blankly.
