BRO... LET'S GET TO THE BIG QUESTION... WHAT DO YOU PLAN TO DO AFTER YOU FIX YOUR SHIP?" Usopp, looking determined, grins and replies, "I'M GOING TO GO ADVENTURING WITH IT, OF COURSE!!" Franky looks at him silently, "....." and Usopp continues, "THEN, ONE DAY, I'LL RETURN TO MY HOME IN EAST BLUE!!" In the bottom panel, Franky speaks with brutal honesty: "THOUGH I HAVEN'T EXACTLY GONE AROUND THE WORLD... I'VE BEEN IN THE GRAND LINE!! SO THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR A TRIUMPHANT RETURN!! NO... YOU WOULDN'T MAKE IT!!! IT'S TOO FAR....." Usopp and the girls react with shock, with Usopp letting out a "?!" bubble. Page 18: Franky stands up from the couch and walks towards the Going Merry, saying, "BIG BRO...!?" and "WHEN I BROUGHT THE SHIP HERE, I CHECKED IT OUT. THERE'S NO HOPE FOR THE SHIP.
