Luffy ### Summary Page 12: The scene reveals Buggy sitting casually on a large wooden chair, one leg crossed over the other. A sign attached to the base of the chair reads "PIRATE CAPTAIN BUGGY THE CLOWN". Behind him, a massive "DOOM!!" sound effect fills the background. Buggy's right hand is missing from his wrist; instead, it is floating in mid-air, gripping the neck of the terrified pirate from the previous page. The pirate gasps for air with a "GASP!" sound effect. In the background, several of Buggy's crewmates watch in shock. One exclaims, "HE'S USING THE POWER!" while another finishes, "...OF THE FRUIT OF THE DEVIL!!" Mohji stands to the left with his arms crossed, and Cabaji stands to the right. Buggy, looking menacing with his red nose and clown makeup, commands, "READY CANNON..." Page 13: The floating hand lifts the choking pirate high into the air in front of a cannon. The pirate coughs "KOFF KOFF" and pleads, "I... NEVER... SP-SPARE ME!" Buggy's face is shown in a terrifying close-up, his mouth wide open as he roars, "BLAST HIM TO PIECES!" The pirate screams "AAAAAAAH!" as the cannon is fired directly at him. A massive "KABOOOM" explosion erupts, filling the middle of the page. In the aftermath, Buggy stands confidently with his back to the blast, his captain's coat billowing around him. He orders his crew, "AND GET ME MY MAP!! AND TAKE EVERYTHING OF VALUE FROM THIS TOWN!!" Footsteps sound out as "STP STP". The remaining pirates, sweating and terrified, salute and shout back, "AYE AYE, CAP'N!" and "CAPTAIN BUGGY, SIR!" Page 14: The scene shifts to Nami and Luffy inside a house. Nami looks at Luffy and says, "WEIRD... SO YOU LOST YOUR CREW AT SEA? HOW BIG IS YOUR CREW?" Luffy, sitting casually on a chair while Nami sits on a table, replies, "JUST ONE OTHER GUY. IS THIS YOUR HOUSE?" Nami answers, "NO. MY WORK KEEPS ME ON THE MOVE. I DON'T KNOW WHOSE HOUSE IT IS. THE TOWN IS PRACTICALLY DESERTED. EVERYONE WANTS TO STAY AS FAR FROM THE TAVERN AS POSSIBLE. THAT'S WHERE BUGGY AND HIS PIRATES ARE." Luffy looks confused and asks, "HMMM... ARE NAMI AND HIS MEN REALLY THAT SCARY?" Nami's face turns into a comical, angry caricature with sharp teeth as she yells, "I'M NAMI! BUGGY IS THE PIRATE!!! DON'T MIX ME UP WITH HIM!" Calming down, she looks serious again and adds, "BUGGY......THE INFAMOUS, CANNON-HAPPY BUCCANEER."
