Arlong laughs from behind her, 'Wasn't it your dream to die in the sea..?' He then addresses Nami, 'My apologies for doubting you. You truly are one of us.' Nami turns her head slightly to look back at him, her expression serious. 'One of you? Don't lump me together with the likes of you. There's only one reason why I joined this crew!' She turns fully to face Arlong, stating firmly, 'And that's to raise 100 million Beli, and buy Cocoyashi Village from you. Consider me as more of an ally.' Page 15: Arlong looks down at Nami, questioning her motives. 'You've betrayed both your fellow villagers and your mother.. And so I've always wondered why you, who believes in nothing else but money, would want to buy a crummy little village.' He then pulls out a piece of paper, adding, 'That is, until I found this in your room.' Nami's eyes widen in shock and panic as she recognizes the paper, thinking, 'That's my...!' Arlong holds up the paper, which is a map, and says mockingly, 'Hm? What is it? Your what? Don't you seem quite flustered.' He points to the map with a grin, 'This is a worn-out treasure map! A map of this island that, without a doubt, points specifically at Cocoyashi Village!'
