In a flashback, Kureha examines Sanji and says, "HIS BODY'S COMPLETELY FROZEN! JUST WHAT WAS HE THINKING, WALKING AROUND WITHOUT EVEN A COAT!? GO WARM UP THE BATH AND THROW HIM IN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!" Chopper examines Luffy and asks, "THIS ONE'S LOST A LOT OF BLOOD, NOT TO MENTION 6 BROKEN RIBS AND A CRACKED SPINE... IS IT ALRIGHT IF I OPERATE ON HIM?" Kureha then checks Nami, noting, "THE WORST ONE HERE IS THIS GIRL. SHE'S ON THE VERGE OF DEATH. CHOPPER, GO GET ME PHENICOL, CARDIOTONICS, AND SOME TIALCILLIN!" Chopper asks, "IS SHE INFECTED?" Kureha replies, "...YES, AND I DON'T THINK IT'S A DISEASE ENDEMIC TO THIS ISLAND." Back in the present, Kureha reassures Nami, "DON'T WORRY. BOTH OF YOUR PALS HERE WILL BE FINE." Nami shivers, "SHIVER SHIVER... UGH..." Page 17: Luffy, despite his severe injuries, is still trying to catch Chopper. He mutters through swollen lips, "DEYR... MY... FREE... NS... (They're my friends)." Kureha says, "UNDERSTOOD, I'LL MAKE SURE TO TREAT THEM. CHOPPER, GET A MOVE ON!" Chopper replies, "R-RIGHT!" But Luffy and Sanji are still chasing him. Chopper yells, "QUIT IT, YOU HUMANS!" Sanji yells, "STOP RUNNING AWAY FROM ME, MEAT! LUFFY, I TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT HIM YET!" Chopper cries, "I HATE HUMANS LIKE YOU!" Kureha tells Nami, "YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HE IS? HE'S CHOPPER, JUST AN AVERAGE BLUE-NOSED REINDEER... BUT REINDEERS CAN'T TALK! BUT WITH ONE CATCH."
