He yells, "SHIP SPOTTED STRAIGHT AT 12 O'CLOCK! EMER-GENCY REPORT! EMER-GENCY REPORT!" Sanji looks and says, "No, there's..." Luffy, looking stressed, complains, "Now of all times!? WHAT? ARE THEY ENEMIES!?" Sanji observes, "For some strange reason... There are hardly any crew members on board!" Usopp replies, "I don't know! But more improtantly..." A large galleon is shown drifting in the water. Luffy points out, "I have no idea what kind of ship it is...! There's no flag nor sail!" He continues to yell, "What are they even out on the seas for then!? What kinda ship doesn't have a flag or any sails!?" Page 5: The Straw Hats observe the strange ship. Usopp notes, "I CAN'T EVEN DETECT A FAINT WILL TO LIVE! AND THEY ALL LOOK SUPER DEPRESSED!" The crew on the other ship is shown sitting around listlessly, looking completely defeated. Sanji warns, "They're going to be swallowed by the waves at this rate!" Chopper asks, "Is that ship gonna be alright!?" Luffy wonders, "What's going on?" On the other ship, a pirate weakly notices, "HEY... IT'S A SHIP... AH... A PIRATE SHIP!" Luffy cups his hands and yells to them, "HEEEYYY! THERE'S A HUGE WAVE AND SOME MONKEYS HEADED YOUR WAY, Y'KNOW! GRAB YOUR HELM!"
