He remembers admiring Jinbe back when he still had guts and mocks how different Jinbe looks now. The crowd is stunned to see him, crying, "It's Boss Jinbe!!! But I thought he'd left the island after he resigned from the Shichibukai...?!!" and asking whether he rescued the princess. Hody says the task was easier than expected and that everyone present is accounted for. When they come after him to avenge their crewmates' deaths, Hody says, he will be ready to strike them down.
