Luffy, Don Krieg, Krieg Pirates ### Summary Page 14: Don Krieg lies motionless, face down on the wooden deck in front of the Baratie, completely floored by the attack. A voice cries out, "AGHHHH! DON KRIEG WAS KNOCKED OUT!" Luffy stands tall behind him, his posture unwavering. A close-up shows Luffy's right fist, heavily punctured and dripping thick drops of blood onto the floor. In the water, Krieg's pirate crewmen are paralyzed with disbelief. "WHAT... WHAT'S WITH THAT GUY!?" one stammers. Another adds, "I'VE NEVER EVEN SEEN THE DON ON HIS KNEES BEFORE, MUCH LESS LYING FLAT ON HIS FACE!" A third pirate yells, "THAT KID JUST PUNCHED OUR DON RIGHT IN THE FACE! NOT TO MENTION IT WAS THROUGH THAT SPIKE-COVERED CAPE!" Page 15: Luffy reaches up and grips the explosive spike still lodged in his shoulder. "MINE," he says, pulling it out with a wet squelch. On the deck, Krieg begins to push himself up, a sinister grin returning to his bruised face as he mutters, "OR YOUR GRAVE...?" Luffy holds the bloody spike in his hand, replying, "OR YOURS..." Krieg chuckles darkly, "REALLY MY GRAVE..." Luffy glares fiercely at Krieg and crushes the metal spike in his bleeding fist. "WHICH IS IT!?" Luffy shouts. "BUT DON'T YOU DARE DECIDE THAT QUESTION JUST BY THESE MEASLY SPEARS OR YOUR STUPID SPIKY CAPE! THIS AIN'T THE PLACE FOR ME TO DIE!"
