His joke infuriates Zoro, who yells that if Brook had stayed where he was and played dead, he could have helped them escape. Brook protests, "Oh, but did you see their faces?! Those fishmen almost jumped out of their skin when they saw me move!!" and adds, "That is correct!! I am just dead bones Brook!! Yohohoho!"
