Luffy ### Summary Page 16: Nami continues to sprint down the street, glancing back at the pirates chasing her. Suddenly, a loud "BANG" echoes through the air, and an explosion occurs in the sky behind them. A massive object plummets from the sky and crashes into the ground right in front of Nami with a deafening "ZUDOOOM", kicking up a huge cloud of dust and debris. Someone screams "AAAHH!!" Three of the pursuing pirates stop in their tracks, their faces contorted in shock. One stammers, "SOMEONE..." and another finishes, "FELL FROM THE SKY?!" Nami also stops, looking completely bewildered as she mutters, "WHAT...?" As the dust begins to settle, a voice from within the crater complains, "WHY DID THEY SHOOT ME WITH THE CANNON? DAMN IT..." Page 17: The dust clears to reveal Luffy standing in the crater, casually dusting himself off. He exhales, "WHEW-WWWW!!!" and says, "FINALLY LANDED!" Nami sits on the ground nearby, staring at him in disbelief. Three of the pirates are knocked back by the impact, and one exclaims, "WHAT THE! HE'S STILL ALIVE!" Nami looks at Luffy, and an idea suddenly strikes her. She clasps her hands together, puts on a bright, innocent smile, and says to Luffy, "OH 'BOSS'! YOU'RE FINALLY HERE... I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO SAVE ME!" Before Luffy can react, Nami takes off running again, yelling over her shoulder, "I'LL LEAVE EVERYTHING TO YOU!" One of the pirates notices and shouts, "AH! SHE RAN OFF AGAIN!" Another pirate says, "WE DON'T HAVE TO CHASE THAT GIRL ANYMORE". The three pirates draw their swords and surround the confused Luffy. One says, "HER 'BOSS' IS STILL HERE!" Another agrees, "THAT'S TRUE! THEY'RE TOGETHER ANYWAYS!" Luffy stands there with a question mark floating next to his head, completely oblivious to the situation.
