Chopper, the small reindeer, is startled by her voice. He jumps back in shock, yelling "ACK!" and dropping the books and medical supplies he was carrying. They crash to the floor with loud "CLATTER" and "CRASH" sound effects. Nami stares at him, surprised by the commotion. Chopper looks panicked, his eyes wide as he scrambles to pick up the dropped items. Page 10: Chopper quickly dashes behind a stone doorway to hide, but he comically hides the wrong half of his body. His head and torso are completely visible to Nami, while he tries to conceal his back behind the wall. He peeks at her nervously. Nami sweatdrops and says, "UMM.. I THINK YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DO IT THE OTHER WAY. AND I CAN STILL SEE LIKE, HALF YOUR FACE. JUST WHAT ARE YOU?" Chopper suddenly bursts out from his hiding spot, yelling angrily, "SHUT UP! Y-YOU DARNED HUMAN! BY THE WAY, HOW'S YOUR FEVER?" Nami is taken aback and screams, "GYAAAAAA! IT TALKED!" From outside the room, a voice yells, "KEEP IT DOWN IN THERE, CHOPPER!" Page 11: Dr. Kureha enters the room. She is a tall, slender, elderly woman with long blonde hair, wearing sunglasses, a crop top, and low-slung pants. She is drinking from a bottle labeled "UME". She laughs, "HEE HEE HEE HEE HEE! LOOKS LIKE YOUR FEVER'S GONE DOWN QUITE A BIT, MISSY. YOU HAPPY, PAPPY?" Nami looks at her and asks, "AND YOU ARE...?" Kureha smiles widely and says, "I'M DR. KUREHA, BUT YOU CAN JUST CALL ME 'DOCTRESS.'" Nami asks, "DOCTOR? THEN THIS IS..." Kureha interrupts, striking a pose, "YOU WANT TO KNOW THE SECRET OF MY YOUTH?" Nami flatly replies, "NO, I NEVER ASKED." Nami realizes, "THIS IS THE CASTLE ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN."
