He turns back to Elder Nyon and declares, "I want to go help Ace!!!" Elder Nyon asks whether he understands how reckless that is and the scale of the war. She warns, "You would be like an ant in the midst of a hurricane...!! You might simply be repelled, unable to accomplish anything." Luffy answers anyway: "It doesn't matter what might happen, I'm going!!! I can't just sit by and let this happen!!!" Elder Nyon sums up his choice: "Yes, I understand...!! So you want to save the most important prisoner in the world?" The page shows Luffy abandoning the Sabaody reunion for the only thing he cannot ignore: saving his brother before execution. Page 12: Elder Nyon lays out the only route with even the slightest chance of success. If Luffy goes to the execution site at Marinford, both Marine admirals and the Shichibukai will be on guard there. Because Ace is the most important prisoner they have, the defenses at the prison will be stiff as well, perhaps impossible to enter. Luffy insists, "There's no point worrying about what to do once I get there until I get there!! If I don't get there while Ace is still there...!! If you've got a huge oar... I'll row with all my might..." Elder Nyon then sees another possibility: if Hancock were to accept the summons and assemble with the Shichibukai, Luffy could hide aboard a Marine vessel. Luffy learns a Marine ship is waiting outside and immediately says he is going to ask Hancock for help.
