Luffy, Anne, Six-Sided Spiel, Balloon, unidentified pirates ### Summary Page 33: In the top left panel, Luffy looks up with a serious expression. Next to him, Anne looks up in horror, screaming, "BAL-LOON!!!". In the top right panel, high in the sky, Spiel is flying away on his broomstick, carrying the captured bird, Balloon, under his arm. Balloon struggles and squawks, "GWAAAH GWAAAH!". Spiel calls down to them, "YOU STRETCH YOURSELF THERE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. YOU DON'T NEED TO CALL ME CAPTAIN. I HAVE NO USE FOR THIS SHIP ANY MORE." In the middle panel, a pirate on the deck reaches out, yelling, "CAP-TAIN!!". Spiel continues his monologue from the sky, "I GOT THE TREASURE I WANTED. I WAS DISGRACED A LITTLE AT THE END, BUT I'M GOING TO EXCUSE MYSELF NOW." He wears a wicked grin. The bottom panel shows a close-up of Spiel's face as he laughs maniacally and shouts his final parting words, "FARE WELL, RUBBER MAN!!!". Page 34: In the top panel, a massive explosion violently rips the pirate ship in half. A huge blast of water and debris erupts into the air with a deafening sound effect. From above, Spiel's voice shouts, "SINK WITH THE SHIP---!!!". In the middle panel, the pirate crew is thrown into absolute chaos as the ship begins to go down. One pirate cries out, "CA-CA-CAPTA-AAIN!!!", while another screams in despair, "WHY US, TOO!!?". In the bottom left panel, Luffy is in full panic mode, his eyes bulging and mouth wide open as he screams, "I'LL DROWN---!!!". In the bottom right panel, Anne is equally terrified, sweating and yelling, "BAL-LOON!!! UWAH, WATER~~~!!!". Page 35: In the top panel, the remains of the pirate ship are sinking into the ocean, leaving only the masts above the water. Bubbles rise to the surface. Voices from the drowning pirates call out: "HELP ME.", "HIEE-EK!", and "BAS-TARD SPIEL~~~!!". In the middle right panel, Luffy bursts out of the water, coughing violently, "BU-BABE-BAAAH!!". He is clinging to a piece of floating wooden debris and cries out, "I! I'M SAVED!!!". In the middle left panel, Anne is shown coughing, "GEHO GEHO". Luffy's voice from off-panel says gratefully, "TH-THANK YOU. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. YOU ARE MY SAVIOR." In the bottom right panel, Luffy lies flat on his back on the debris, completely drained. Anne looks down at him and says, "HEY....BAL-LOON!". In the bottom left panel, Anne sits on the floating wreckage, looking downcast. She explains, "BALLOON IS SAID TO BE THE LAST ROC. A ROC'S BLOOD IS SAID TO CARRY MAGICAL POWER, SO THAT'S WHAT HE'S AFTER!!!" Luffy remains lying beside her, silent with a "....." bubble.
