Helmeppo laughs nervously, "HEH HEH HEH!" and threatens, "ONE FALSE MOVE AND FOUR EYES GETS IT!!!" He adds, "IF YOU EVEN BLINK, I'LL SHOOT!" In the background, a group of Marines watch in shock, one exclaiming, "HELMEPPO...!!" The middle panel shows a wider view of the standoff. Helmeppo holds Koby hostage while Luffy stands facing them. Koby yells out bravely, "HEY, LUFFY!!" and "DON'T LET THEM WIN BECAUSE OF ME!" In the bottom right panel, a close-up shows Koby sweating and crying, but resolute as he screams, "LET HIM KILL ME!!" In the middle right panel, Captain Morgan looms up right behind Luffy, raising his massive axe-hand to strike. Morgan roars, "YOU'VE ASSAULTED AN OFFICER OF THE NAVY!!!" Luffy continues winding up his arm, saying, "GUM-GUM..." In the middle left panel, a close-up shows Zoro biting down on his sword hilt with a "KLMP" sound, preparing to act. In the bottom right panel, Helmeppo's face is contorted in panic as he screams, "DADDY!! KILL HIM!!" with a "!?". In the bottom left panel, a close-up of Luffy shows him looking determined as he shouts, "...PISTOL!" Page 21: In the top panel, Luffy's stretched arm snaps forward, delivering a powerful punch directly into Helmeppo's face. Helmeppo's face caves in from the impact, and he cries out, "OOF!!!"
