Top left panel: He throws the bomb on the ground, creating a massive explosion of smoke with a "POOF!!". The pirates are caught off guard, exclaiming "!?". Shanks covers his face, yelling, "SMOKE BOMB!!!" Middle right panel: Within the thick smoke, Higuma grabs Luffy. A voice calls out, "C'MERE KID!!". Luffy struggles, yelling, "HEY! LET GO!". Middle left panel: The smoke begins to clear. Shanks looks around frantically, shouting, "LUFFY!!". Bottom right panel: Shanks panics completely, waving his arms and screaming, "OH NO! STOP!". In the present, Luffy yells, "TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID ABOUT SHANKS!! HE'S NOT A COWARD!!". Higuma looks surprised, "HUH!?". A close-up of Luffy's face shows him furious and yelling, "STOP TALKING BAD ABOUT SHANKS!!!!".
