Luffy, Headman, Shiruku, Older Woman ### Summary Page 10: The Headman suddenly realizes something terrible, a sound effect noting his *SUDDEN REALIZATION*. He panics, thinking, "OH NO!! SHIRUKU IS IN THAT SHOP!!". Unaware of the Headman's panic, the young man points to a building with a sign reading "Ba-baba Restaurant" and asks, "WHERE CAN I GET FOOD?". The Headman frantically points toward the restaurant, yelling, "RIGHT THIS WAY!". The young man politely replies, "OH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH," and heads inside. Inside the restaurant, Shiruku sits on a counter, her sword resting beside her, while an older woman stands behind the bar. The young man enters, casually saying, "HEY". The older woman greets him with "WELCOME". Shiruku glares at him silently. Suddenly, with a swift motion (SFX: *WHOOSH!* *SUDDEN MOVEMENT*), Shiruku leaps up and swings her sword down at the young man, yelling, "PREPARE YOURSELF, PIRATE!!!". The young man yelps "WAH" and dodges backward, falling to the floor. Sitting on the ground with his hands raised defensively, he quickly says, "WAIT, I'M NOT A PIRATE". Shiruku halts her attack, looking confused, and says, "EH?". The young man clarifies, "NOT YET, ANYWAY". Page 11: The young man is now seated at a table, rapidly stuffing his face with various foods. Sound effects (*MUNCH MUNCH* and Japanese characters for eating) surround him. He critiques the meal between bites: "THIS IS GOOD!!", "AH, THIS IS GROSS!", "THIS IS GOOD!!", and "THIS TOO, BUT THIS ONE'S GROSS.". Shiruku sits across from him, resting her chin on her hand, looking unimpressed. She remarks, "NO WONDER, I THOUGHT YOU LOOKED WEAK," and notes, "YOU DON'T HAVE A WEAPON EITHER". She then asks, "BUT THAT SHIP IS GYARI'S, ISN'T IT? WHERE ARE THEY-". The young man, his cheeks bulging with food, points a finger at her and interrupts, "LISTEN TO WHAT I'M SAYING". After swallowing, he declares, "I'M GOING TO BECOME A PEACE MAIN". Shiruku looks puzzled and repeats, "PEACE MAIN?". The young man explains, "THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF PIRATES". He elaborates, "VIOLENT PIRATES WHO JUST PILLAGE AND LOOT ARE CALLED 'MORGANIA'". He continues, "'PEACE MAINS' FIGHT THOSE GUYS AND GO ON ADVENTURES". A wider view of the restaurant shows them continuing their conversation. The young man says, "THAT'S WHY I WANT TO MAKE A CREW OF PEACE MAINS," and adds, "AND SAIL WITH THEM, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY MORGANIA PIRATES IN THE WORLD..". Shiruku looks away indifferently, stating, "I DON'T REALLY MIND". She cynically adds, "EITHER ONE WILL JUST WIND UP PLUNDERING IN THE END, WON'T THEY?". She concludes, "I'M NOT AN ALLY OF JUSTICE OR ANYTHING".
