Luffy, Usopp, Arlong ### Summary Page 17: Luffy forcefully pulls his bleeding arm out of Arlong's grip, blood splattering as he frees himself. He stands up, panting heavily, 'HUFF HUFF...'. He looks around the ruined courtyard and asks, 'HUH? WHERE'D HE GO!?'. Usopp points frantically towards the large pool of water in the center of the courtyard and yells, 'LUFFY! THE WATER!'. Luffy looks towards the pool, confused, and asks, 'WATER...?'. Page 18: A large shark fin slices ominously through the water in the pool. Luffy looks surprised and says, 'WHAT? HE DOVE BELOW?'. Usopp yells in panic, 'YEAH, THAT'S ARLONG! THERE'S A SHARK IN THE WATER!'. Arlong's voice echoes from beneath the surface, 'WITH THE SPEEDS I CAN ATTAIN UNDERWATER, NOBODY CAN STOP ME...!'. The water begins to swirl and bubble violently, indicating Arlong is building up speed for a devastating attack. Page 19: Suddenly, Arlong shoots out of the water like a high-speed torpedo, yelling 'SHARK ON... DARTS!'. He flies through the air at incredible speed, a blur of motion. Luffy barely has time to react, wondering 'DID HE RUN AWAY?'. Arlong crashes into the building behind Luffy with a massive explosion, sending debris flying everywhere. A person is seen flying through the air from the impact, yelling 'AGHHH!'.
