"WHAT'S WITH THIS DISGUSTING SOUP? IS IT SUPPOSED TO TASTE LIKE SLUDGE OR WHAT!? WE'D GO OUT OF BUSINESS IF WE SERVED THIS TO THE CUSTOMERS!" Sanji grabs Zeff by the collar, furious. "DON'T JOKE WITH ME, YOU DAMN GEEZER! HOW'S THIS ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE SOUP YOU MAKE!? WELL!? SPEAK UP! THE SOUP I MAKE...?" Zeff kicks Sanji away, sending him flying across the room. "DON'T GET COCKY!" Page 17: Zeff stands tall, looking down. "IT'S A HUNDRED YEARS TOO EARLY FOR A LIL' EGG-PLANT LIKE YOU TO BE COMPARING MY SOUP WITH YOURS! I'VE COOKED ALL AROUND THE WORLD!" Patty and the other cooks watch in shock, saying, "THE OWNER... PUNCHED HIM...!?" and "HE DIDN'T KICK, BUT PUNCHED HIM INSTEAD...!" Sanji sits on the floor, stunned and angry, then mutters, "DAMN IT!" He storms out, slamming the door behind him. Luffy drinks the soup directly from a large bowl and says, "THIS SOUP'S PRETTY GOOD IF YOU ASK ME!" Page 18: The cooks sit at the table. One says, "...YEAH, WE KNOW. WHEW, THAT WAS SCARY. HE SURE WAS STOMPING MAD. EVERYONE HERE KNOWS HOW GOOD SANJI'S COOKING IS. BUT IF WE DIDN'T DO THAT, THAT IDIOT WOULD NEVER LISTEN TO US...!" Luffy listens, saying, "HM?" Zeff looks serious. "WOULD YOU MIND... TAKING THAT LIL' EGGPLANT WITH YOU? TAKE HIM TO GRAND LINE... IT'S HIS DREAM." Outside, Sanji sits on the floor, listening through the wall. He hears the cooks laughing inside. "JEEZ, THAT WAS MORE TROUBLE THAN IT WAS WORTH, OWNER ZEFF! IT WAS REALLY HARD TO PLAY ALONG. HEY, GIVE ME ANOTHER HELPING OF THIS SOUP! ME TOO! AND ME!" Sanji thinks, "I CAN HEAR YOU... YOU BASTARDS..."
