Luffy, Anne, unidentified pirates ### Summary Page 24: In the top panel, Spiel is looking through a telescope. He mutters, "HEY..." and then lowers it slightly, saying, "HRMM?". Through the telescope's lens, Luffy is seen standing casually on the ship's deck, holding a small wooden barrel. Luffy asks, "WHAT A GREAT WEATHER, WHERE ARE YOU HEADING?". In the bottom left panel, Spiel turns around, looking completely shocked. Luffy stands right behind him, pointing at Spiel's star-shaped head, and says bluntly, "IT LOOKS KIND OF LIKE A WATER STRIDER. YOUR HEAD, I MEAN." A massive "ZUDOON" sound effect emphasizes the insult, while the pirate crew stands frozen in disbelief in the background. In the bottom right panel, Luffy looks down at Anne, who is lying motionless face-down on the deck. A silent "....." thought bubble floats above him. Page 25: In the top panel, the pirate crew is in an absolute panic, sweating and yelling. One pirate shouts, "WHAT HAS HE DONE...!?” while another screams, "IS HE AN IDIOT...!?". In the middle panel, Luffy crouches down next to Anne and asks casually, "HEY, WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING WHILE YOU'RE BLEEDING?". Anne suddenly lifts her head, her face contorted in anger with sharp teeth, and yells at him, "I WAS SHOT AND I FELL DOWN!! I WAS ACTING DEAD TO WAIT FOR A CHAN-...". Luffy looks at her in confusion, saying, "HMM?". The bottom panel is a large action shot showing Anne suddenly grabbing Luffy by the head and pulling him down to the deck as she screams, "KYAAA!!!".
