"That's why I beg of you!! Don't tell anything of this to the people of Fishman Island!! Of the tragedy that has befallen us!! Or our rage towards the humans!!" He looks at Koala's memory and says, "But... we're not the ones... who can really change things for our people... It's only the next generation... children like Koala, who still know nothing... that can do that...!!!" He understands the truth, but his body and heart cannot follow it: "There are countless kind-hearted humans out there in this world!! I understand that!! And yet... as we die and vanish from this world...!! We leave nothing behind us but resentment and hatred!!! My mind can see the truth, but the demon in my heart stands firm!! My body... refuses to accept their blood!!! It's too late for me...!! I can't ...love the humans anymore ...!!!" Page 17: The crew begs him to live. "Don't say such things, Boss!! You have to live!!
