Luffy, Mikazuki no Gyari, Pirates, Headman, Shiruku, Older Woman ### Summary Page 9: Gyari's face contorts with rage, veins bulging on his forehead. He glares menacingly and declares, "BUT THIS TIME YOU PICKED THE WRONG ENEMY". He boasts, "YOU HAVE ANGERED A PERSON NO ONE IN THE WORLD WANTS TO MAKES AN ENEMY OF - THE MAN WHO WILL ENTER THE 'BEST 3,' GYARI..". However, a small panel reveals that the spot on the railing where the young man was standing is now empty. One of Gyari's crewmates points out, "HE'S GONE," to which another replies, "OH, HE IS". Realizing he's been ignored, Gyari furiously slams his fist down (SFX: *BONK* *HUFF!*) and screams, "I'LL KILL HIM!!!". Meanwhile, the young man in the straw hat is already strolling casually down the cobblestone street of the village. He observes, "THIS IS A QUIET VILLAGE, HUH...". He thinks to himself, "I'LL SET THOSE GUYS FREE SOMEWHERE FAR AWAY OUT AT SEA," reasoning, "IF THEY GOT OUT HERE AND STARTED RAMPAGING ABOUT, IT'D SEEM LIKE I BROUGHT THEM HERE". Suddenly, the village Headman jumps out from an alleyway, sweating profusely and bowing slightly. He stammers, "WE'LL LISTEN TO YOUR DEMANDS," and introduces himself, "I AM THIS VILLAGE'S HEADMAN!". The young man looks surprised, exclaiming "WAH," before bluntly noting, "OH, HI. YOU HAVE A STRANGE HEAD, HUH?". Page 10: The Headman suddenly realizes something terrible, a sound effect noting his *SUDDEN REALIZATION*. He panics, thinking, "OH NO!! SHIRUKU IS IN THAT SHOP!!". Unaware of the Headman's panic, the young man points to a building with a sign reading "Ba-baba Restaurant" and asks, "WHERE CAN I GET FOOD?". The Headman frantically points toward the restaurant, yelling, "RIGHT THIS WAY!". The young man politely replies, "OH, THANK YOU VERY MUCH," and heads inside. Inside the restaurant, Shiruku sits on a counter, her sword resting beside her, while an older woman stands behind the bar. The young man enters, casually saying, "HEY". The older woman greets him with "WELCOME". Shiruku glares at him silently. Suddenly, with a swift motion (SFX: *WHOOSH!* *SUDDEN MOVEMENT*), Shiruku leaps up and swings her sword down at the young man, yelling, "PREPARE YOURSELF, PIRATE!!!". The young man yelps "WAH" and dodges backward, falling to the floor. Sitting on the ground with his hands raised defensively, he quickly says, "WAIT, I'M NOT A PIRATE". Shiruku halts her attack, looking confused, and says, "EH?". The young man clarifies, "NOT YET, ANYWAY".
