## One Piece Chapter 964, pages 2-3: Oden's Adventure - Chapter: 964 - Pages: 2-3 - Characters: Kozuki Oden, Edward Newgate, Marco, Amatsuki Toki ### Summary Page 2: Oden's desire for the sea cannot be stopped. In Wano, his retainers cry, "You cannot do that!!" but Oden shouts back, "I want to adventure... out at sea!!" He asks Whitebeard directly, "Just take me with you!!" The Whitebeard Pirates are alarmed, asking, "Weren't you just trying to kill the captain?" Whitebeard refuses because Oden is not the kind of man who would be content as a follower. He knows from experience that a band of people like that only creates trouble. Oden insists that he has tried dozens of times but cannot sail or navigate and begs Whitebeard to take him, but Whitebeard tells him to set sail on his own. Page 3: Whitebeard makes it clear that leaving Wano is a crime that carries severe punishment. He says he never intended to take Oden with him anyway, but Oden answers with complete certainty: "I want to go on this adventure, whether it is legal or not!! I want to see the world!!" Marco mocks Oden's tiny sense of geography, telling him, "You think there's only five islands in the whole world!? Hahaha!! Don't be ridiculous!!" and adds that even if Oden guessed ten or twenty thousand, he would still be far off. Two weeks later, Oden still begs to go. Toki watches him and says, "I am a daimyo, remember! A daimyo!! ...Please go ahead." Oden only wants to relieve himself in peace, while somewhere else a report warns that there are countless islands out there.
