Iva says he is not a god, a Buddha, or a man of miracles; that is just a name other people decided to call him. He has never been able to save someone who only relied on others. Countries mired in poverty, countries broken by war and about to collapse: all just poured forth their own will to live. He warns, "Don't underestimate the power of miracles!!!" Page 7: Ivankov explains his Devil Fruit power and New Kama philosophy. He says he basically ate the Horo Horo Fruit and can manipulate hormones: gender, body temperature, pigment, growth and tension. He calls himself a human engineer who can remake people from the inside out. In New Kama Land, the candies have completely surpassed the concept of gender; a man may originally have been a woman, and a woman may have started as a man. Bon Clay realizes Iva used hormones to change that man into a woman, while Iva insists this prison is a kingdom of dreams.
