Under the pain and pressure, Franky finally says what he has been hiding: "I... I... I SAID I WANT TO STAY ON THIS ISLAND!!" He admits he is really thankful to them, more than he can imagine, but he wants to go with them and still has things to take care of in Water Seven. He says that is why he gave them the ship: first, he quit being a shipwright already, and second, he wanted that ship to be the last one he ever made. "IT WAS MY WISH... THAT IS THE 'DREAM SHIP'!!!" Franky once imagined getting on such a ship as a shipwright and seeing its destined day with his own eyes. By then, the ship would be rugged and worn, but brighter than any other ship.
