Luffy glares at Enel, realizing the situation, and thinks, "He's also using that power to read my movements! Damn it!" Enel stands ready for the next exchange. Page 7: Enel analyzes the situation, thinking, "NO, WAIT... HE'S ONLY A PARAMECIA... HE'LL MOST LIKELY STILL HAVE TO RETAIN HIS PHYSICAL FORM... WHAT IN HEAVENS IS RUBBER...!?" He then grips his golden staff, and intense electricity crackles around his hand and the weapon. He calls out, "GLOAM PADDLING!" The intense heat and electricity cause the golden staff to melt and reshape. Nami watches in shock, exclaiming, "His staff... Is being morphed into a trident!" Luffy looks on in surprise, uttering, "Hm!?" as the newly formed trident solidifies.
