## One Piece Chapter 9, pages 10-12: Femme Fatale - Chapter: 9 - Pages: 10-12 - Characters: Buggy, unidentified Buggy Pirate, Mohji, Cabaji, unidentified Buggy Pirates ### Summary Page 10: A nervous, burly pirate sweats as he reports, "W-WE'RE STILL SEARCHING FOR HER, CAPTAIN BUGGY..." Buggy, still mostly in shadow with his large round nose prominent, growls, "AND JUST WHEN WE WERE ABOUT TO HEAD THERE......AND RAISE SOME HELL!!!" The pirate stammers an excuse: "WELL YOU SEE, CAP'N, SIR... SOMEHOW, THE KEY TO THE MAP ROOM GOT LEFT IN THE LOCK..." Buggy's face is shown in a tight close-up, his eyes wide with fury as he snaps, "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" The pirate continues, "AND ONLY THE ROBBER KNOWS--" The scene cuts to the exterior of the tavern roof as Buggy's voice booms out in a jagged speech bubble: "THIS IS INEXCUSABLE!! HOW COULD YOU LET THE MAP OF THE GRAND LINE GET STOLEN!?" Back inside, the pirate tries to finish his sentence: "I SAID, ROBBER KNOWS--" Buggy mishears him, his voice erupting in a massive, jagged font: "WHAT? RUBBER NOSE??" A loud "KRASH!!" and a cry of "YIKES!" follow as debris flies, indicating Buggy has violently attacked the crew member. Page 11: Buggy glares menacingly, a low "GRRRRRR" sound emanating from him. He asks, "DOES MY NOSE LOOK FUNNY TO YOU? YOU THINK IT LOOKS FAKE?" The terrified pirate, sweating profusely, gulps and waves his hands defensively. "NO, NO... IT'S A MISTAKE! I MEANT THE THIEF!" Buggy's rage escalates as he mishears again, yelling, "SO NOW IT'S A STEAK?! IT LOOKS LIKE BEEF?!!" The pirate cries, "BUT..." Buggy screams, "FOR THIS YOU DIE!!!" The pirate pleads, "CAP'N, WAIT!! I NEVER SAID--" Suddenly, a disembodied hand wearing a white glove shoots out and grabs the pirate by the throat. A close-up of Buggy's face shows his intense, angry eyes and large round nose as he demands, "WHO AM I?" The pirate is lifted off the ground by the floating hand, choking out, "UMF!! I CAN'T BREATHE! C-CAPTAIN... BUGGY..." After the choking, the pirate is shown on the floor with a "FWUMP", gasping, "BUG... UG... UGH... UG..." as he crawls away, his boots making "KLOMP KLOMP" sounds on the floor. In the background, Buggy sits on a throne-like chair, surrounded by his crew. Page 12: The scene reveals Buggy sitting casually on a large wooden chair, one leg crossed over the other. A sign attached to the base of the chair reads "PIRATE CAPTAIN BUGGY THE CLOWN". Behind him, a massive "DOOM!!" sound effect fills the background. Buggy's right hand is missing from his wrist; instead, it is floating in mid-air, gripping the neck of the terrified pirate from the previous page. The pirate gasps for air with a "GASP!" sound effect. In the background, several of Buggy's crewmates watch in shock. One exclaims, "HE'S USING THE POWER!" while another finishes, "...OF THE FRUIT OF THE DEVIL!!" Mohji stands to the left with his arms crossed, and Cabaji stands to the right. Buggy, looking menacing with his red nose and clown makeup, commands, "READY CANNON..."
