What happens in chapter 299

Pouf and Yupi offer their bodies and cells to heal the injured King, triggering massive energy releases and transformations. The King demands more from both, leading to scenes of ecstasy and power. The chapter ends with the King claiming the name Meruem given by his mother and reflections on unconditional love from the Queen.

Yupi's enormous head fills the upper panel, jaws stretched wide in a thunderous howl as sweat and spittle fly from his open maw. A text box declares that the creature contained the omen in its entirety. Below, a small winged figure soars through turbulent clouds while another tiny character stares upward in shock.
