Time Limit

The small winged creature demands how those facts and the phrase 'it's fine already' connect. She replies that even if that is true, it does not matter. The creature, eyes wide, snaps back asking what she is talking about. In the spacious room the woman explains that the King most likely did not notice the girl because she had covered her with her own hair, which could not register her as a person. If the King had noticed, he would have come to the creature first. She asks if he gets it so far. The creature recalls that during the first En it was carrying that girl. A figure lies on the floor giving an OK. The creature, still confused and angry, shouts that it is still not following what she is saying. She answers yes, stating that in the logical sense she has no objections.

The woman declares that the King's En will not pick up the girl as long as they cover her with something. The small creature stares in shock, muttering 'that's...' with wide eyes. It then proposes they will negotiate naturally but want to gain as much time as possible. The creature suddenly flares up, asking if she means it should just let Knuckle and Meleoron die before it without even negotiating anything. It demands to know how much time they are talking about. The woman replies that they will need to hide the girl in a place the King cannot find, and that this is also for that purpose.

Another box explains that besides being easily taken in by the body and rapidly destroying the internal organs of the unlucky ones who did not die in the explosion because of their distance from the flowering place, the poison also brings forth a great chain of poisonings. Lower panels depict a hunched, dotted figure clutching its body as text describes how the poison turns the flesh of the affected people into poison, which then starts releasing new poison while slowly leading them to death. The amount of poison and the time it takes for the victims to die is actually quite superb.
