In a wider view, the woman turns to face the sea of bidders, her back to the viewer, gesturing broadly as signs reading "10" and clapping SFX fill the stands. "I ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE PART IN THE AUCTION TO ACQUIRE THE ITEM YOU HAVE IN MIND WITHOUT A THOUGHT TO THE VIEWS SOCIETY HOLDS OF YOU," she declares. The suited man checks his watch and replies that it is 2PM on September 6th. Neon looks surprised. In a close-up, the suited man tells the bald man, "YOU'RE STILL FEVERISH. YOU SHOULD SLEEP A LITTLE MORE." The bald man answers, "I THOUGHT SO. HE THINKS IT'S THE 5TH." In the lower panels the suited man explains the situation at a computer terminal: "IT SEEMS THE REMAINING OBJECTS WILL BE SOLD ON THE MAFIA COMMUNITY'S SITE. AND THAT WAS APPARENTLY ENOUGH TO CONVINCE NEON." The bald man adds, "THEY LEARNED FROM WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR WITH THE RYODAN, AND THE UNDERGROUND AUCTION WILL NO LONGER TAKE PLACE." Neon, now wearing her headband, asks with wide eyes, "DID SHE GO TO THE UNDERGROUND AUCTION?" and then whispers, "NEON ...?"

He continues, "ELISA WAS COMPLETELY DEVASTATED." and "SCIWALA WAS KILLED." In a dark panel the bald man reveals more: "SHE'S ALREADY HEADED TO THE AIRPORT. ACTUALLY, THEY LEFT YESTERDAY." and "SHE EVEN SAID SHE WANTED TO GO HOME." He notes, "SHE WAS REALLY MOVED WHEN SHE SAW HOW EFFECTED ELISA WAS." and "THE SCARLET PUPILS WERE STOLEN AT THE SAME TIME, BUT THE BOSS DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE MUCH." Back in the room the suited man sits on the bed holding documents and tells Neon, "YOU SEE, YOU CAN STILL REST..." while she stares at him with a blank expression. A final empty panel shows only motion lines.
