Separation

A large overhead view reveals a stone-paved courtyard marked with numerous black impact craters and two circular clock-like patterns. In the upper left, Gon Freecss glares forward with spiky orange hair. In the upper right, Killua Zoldyck stands with white hair, hands on hips, facing the scene. Zeno stares intently into the night sky while another elder watches beside him. A helmeted figure turns and issues a command: "PROCEED." In a wide panel showing floating debris and cracked surfaces, a voice challenges the opponent: "AND WHAT YOU HOPED TO ACCOMPLISH THROUGH TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE CONFUSION WAS SEPARATING YOURSELF FROM THE ROYAL GUARDS FROM MYSELF, CORRECT?" Another speaker replies, "I'VE MORE THAN REALIZED THE FACT THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO FULFILL YOUR GOALS WHILE MINIMIZING AS MANY HUMAN SACRIFICES AS POSSIBLE." Netero appears in profile, his expression grave, as the helmeted figure repeats "PROCEED." A small bubble adds, "IT MATTERS NOT." The page ends on a dramatic close-up of Netero thrusting both hands forward, aura flaring around his fingers with heavy impact lines and the sound effect "ドド".

Zeno leaps within a massive dragon-shaped aura of white energy, the technique labeled "DRAGON HEAD." Netero watches with a tense expression, thinking "WHAT A FRIGHTENING BEING..." A narration box explains: "The technique that had been drawn out bore no malice toward the King. The two noticed the very moment when the King himself discerned this." Another box wonders, "Could it have been out of respect for the King? Or possibly—" A final box states, "The reason Zeno had not even a slightly playful attitude about him as he activated his technique..."

Against a night sky filled with drifting clouds and scattered debris, a massive domed building stands damaged and crumbling. Gon, his back turned, stands on the left edge of the structure while Killua faces the same direction from the center. A huge, cracked cross-shaped barrier dominates the right side of the scene. On the far right, Zeno appears in a dramatic close-up, his white hair flowing, face intense, fist clenched as if charging forward amid speed lines and impact effects. The timer at the bottom reads 0:00:18:56. Smoke and fragments float through the air around the ruined dome.

In a series of panels, Gon and Killua stand together on a damaged rooftop at night. Gon turns his head toward Killua. A close-up shows Gon's profile as he calls out 'KILLUA.' Another panel shows Killua from behind replying 'LET'S GO.' A second speech bubble states 'PITOU'S OVER THERE.' An action panel follows with heavy speed lines and impact marks suggesting sudden movement. The final panels show a close-up of Gon's determined face and a wide shot of a small figure leaping through the air toward the distant domed building under the moonlight.

Killua felt something far greater than simply realizing now was not the time. "Which one?" Killua just barely managed to suppress the urge to ask such a question. If he opened his mouth there would no longer be any way to stop what was happening...!!! The path just a little ahead of the place people who gain experience end up. If he let it all come out, the result... No way to turn back...!!! Killua could do nothing but draw closer to that path. Due to the fear that he might lose something important to him, Killua could only move forward along the narrow path with no escape.

Roughly 10 seconds before the dragon flew down, a massive clawed limb slams down with tremendous force, sending shockwaves and debris flying. A close-up shows a man's face marked with X-shaped eyes and the sound "GUHH ...!!". Another panel reveals a different man with wide eyes and an intense glare shouting "NUU!!". The dragon head plummets through the sky amid swirling clouds and scattered fragments. The impact creates a massive cloud of dust and rubble on the ground below.

The reckless charge of Shoot, who was not even afraid of his own fatal wounds, was, on the contrary, extending his own life. Leaping through the air with torn clothing and streaming black hair, Shoot drives forward despite the blood and injuries covering his body. Below, Youpi stands massive and muscular, compound eyes visible on his shoulder. Just before the heavy wounds on his body should have led him to sudden death, Shoot stole a single thing: one of the compound eyes from Youpi's shoulder. The physical damage Youpi felt was equivalent to zero. However-- "Hotel Rafflesia."

Youpi was unable to go all-out. His body twists violently amid explosive impact lines and flying debris as he reels from the strike. Youpi's and Shoot's advantages and disadvantages were equal. The strange feeling that had been "stolen rather than destroyed" had considerably influenced Youpi's mental state. "I CANNOT LET THIS GUY GET CLOSE TO THE KING!" Youpi shouts. However, having received another attack that he was completely unfamiliar with, Youpi took a step back. As expected, this development...

On the other hand, Knuckle was suffering greatly. His face twisted in anguish, sweat and strain visible as he clenched his teeth. A powerful fist shot forward with motion lines emphasizing its force. 'I...can't hit him yet!!!' Knuckle thought desperately. 'Bear it!!!' he urged internally. In the wide battlefield below, Shoot was being relentlessly assaulted by Youpi's massive form. Youpi's attacks continued to gradually shave Shoot's life away while strengthening his surveillance of the surrounding area. 'If I attack right now, it'd be like purposefully telling him "you have another enemy in your midst!"' Knuckle realized, holding back despite the dire situation.

And at his side, doing nothing but watching, Shoot continued to take Youpi's violent attacks while drenched in his own blood. 'Bear it!!!' echoed again as the brutal assault persisted. In a dark panel sequence, more impacts and ink splatters showed the ongoing punishment. 'Please, bear through it!!!' Knuckle pleaded from the sidelines. 'No matter how much he screamed to himself in his head, Fighting on his own just to keep his breath in.' Finally, a close-up revealed Knuckle's tear-streaked face, eyes wide with emotion as he shouted with all his might: 'Do your best!!!' The words burst out as he was unable to hold back his tears any longer.

A lone fighter explodes into a powerful stance amid a storm of ink-black motion lines. The young man leans forward with knees bent and fists clenched, his body twisted as if bracing against or charging through tremendous force. Heavy scribbled strokes slash across the frame, suggesting impact, speed, or an overwhelming aura. His head is lowered, eyes sharp beneath a dark headband, mouth set in grim determination. Loose robes billow around his frame while his posture radiates raw tension and readiness.

Large double doors swing open at the top of the page. Two figures step through the doorway into view. On the left stands Zitow, an insectoid humanoid with a large curved beak, segmented body, and clawed limbs. On the right is Brouda, a muscular anthropomorphic cat-like being with wild hair, cat ears, and a torn fur vest, mouth open in a shout. Narration states the two who appeared from the doors were Zitow and Brouda. Below, a close-up shows Werefin's wolf-like head in profile. Additional narration explains that the reason Werefin was secretly following Flutter was because he had sniffed out an anomaly.

A sharp, intense eye fills the upper panel as the thought races: "IT WAS TOO FAST...!!!" A small box labels the event "Anomaly." Below, overlapping speech bubbles analyze the timeline: the intruder killed two ants in the corridor and returned before Flutter appeared, the interval far too short. One voice questions why the intruder would ignore Flutter, while another concludes the deaths happened immediately after. In a dramatic lower panel, a wolf-like chimera ant with fierce eyes reacts in shock, exclaiming "A TRAITOR...!?" and realizing "FLUTTER'S ON THE INTRUDER'S SIDE...IN OTHER WORDS...!"

In a damaged palace corridor, a hooded figure walks away in the distance while a curly-haired person in a frilly dress stands near a sliding door. A cat-like chimera ant with a tail approaches from the right, exclaiming "OH!? IF IT ISN'T FLUTTER!! WHAT'S ALL THIS RUCKUS ABOUT!?" Scattered debris and impact marks cover the floor. Smaller panels show the curly-haired character reacting with surprise, the wolf-like chimera ant pondering whether the destruction is Hagya's work or the intruder's, and a digital timer reading "0:00:18:68". Other chimera ants, including a fish-like one and a squid-like one, appear in close-ups as the group processes the situation.

In an ornate hallway, two figures stand watch. One with a spotted head says, "WELL...NO ONE TOLD US WE NEED TO KEEP STANDING GUARD HERE OR ANYTHING." Another voice replies, "HM? WHAT SHOULD WE DO?" A close-up shows a wide-eyed character with a cat-like face declaring, "MY NEW ABILITY. ...BUT I'D REAAALLY LIKE TO GIVE IT A TRY, YOU KNOW..." Nearby, a spiky-haired boy leans against the wall and states, "YEAH... I'VE BEEN GIVEN ORDERS FROM HAGYA-SAMA..." while a scaled figure asks, "UH YEAH... GOING DOWN?" Suddenly a massive explosion erupts below, flames and debris filling the air. The cat-faced character yells, "IT'S MASSIVE..." as others shout "WOAHHH!" In the aftermath, a long-nosed figure and a wild-haired man stare in shock amid scattered symbols and smoke.

From a high vantage, the cat-faced character leaps away shouting, "TAKE CARE! I'LL CHECK THINGS OUT A BIT MORE." "See ya later!!!" and "This is gonna be fun!!" echo as the figure jumps with motion lines. Below, the long-nosed character waves and says, "BYE." while the wild-haired man replies, "WELL THEN, I'LL BE OFF NOW." A horse-like figure appears in shadow. In close-up, the long-nosed character asks, "HAGYA-SAMA, HUH...?" beside the wild-haired man. The page ends with the Hunter × Hunter logo and chapter number.
