The reasoning doesn't stick when a pair dies and many people die. We soon realized something as we re-searched. But Kasuga paid the price for Yasuha's wish, so it was easy to track down the victims. We had a bit of trouble with Mulina the tourist. The rules are different between the two types. So we thought that perhaps... When Kasuga died, those who were in the same class as she was died the exact same way at the exact same date and time. Zoldyck butlers receive their training and education within the family's estate.

There's no way that she loved every single one of her classmates. But... People from the same orphanage, her foster parents, and their parents... they were all 'close' to her. Other than those, their homeroom teacher, and an instructor, and some people from different classes died. They could only meet once a month, for thirty minutes. What clinched it was her seriously ill birth mother. The orphanage's records said that her 'most beloved person is her birth mother'. But she's still alive to this day, in the hospital. Kasuga had a lover who she'd just started dating. It's not that she grew to hate her mother, but that she now had somebody she loved more. I would normally agree, but it's a bit more complicated. People change. Love and hate are two faces of the same coin. The time she spent with her lover was even shorter than that with her mother. They met over the internet, and apparently hit it off when they met in real life.

A long-haired woman and a man with a star marking on his cheek discuss the Zoldyck family's experiments. "We used her to experiment with," the woman states. "Yes, that's right," the man replies. "Our butlers are executed if they have lovers anyway." The man continues, "Oh, you realized? You incited it after we researched! ...You didn't research this after the incident, did you?" The woman adds, "The Zoldyck family was at risk of dying out... If we didn't learn the complexities of it... That this could be a catastrophic ability. We realized after the first incident..." A wide night view of a city appears with narration: "If you refuse Alluka's requests 4 times, you must pay with your life. We investigated the deaths of the first 13 relentlessly and had a theory. After the next 67 died, we were certain." Silhouettes of two figures holding hands are shown with blood-like splatters. "When there are more victims, on top of the 'failed' person and their 'most beloved'... When there are only 2 deaths, the person who 'failed' Alluka and their 'most beloved' person would die." A family scene shows a man, woman, young girl, and small child. "People die in order of 'how much time they spent with the 'failed' person'. That's why the mother didn't die even though she was loved, and the lover died even though they only spent a short time with Kasuga. In addition..."

A glass of water sits on a windowsill with the note "That is bad." A man with slicked-back hair sweats and says "Ah..." A night scene shows an airship over water. "Killua will most certainly ask Alluka- To 'make Gon as he was before'. See?" Inside a mechanical room, a woman with long hair speaks: "But Killua... If he forces the 'price' onto somebody else, there wouldn't be a problem." She adds, "Killua will make the 'request' himself." A young girl with a headpiece and a spiky-haired boy stand amid dramatic impact lines and SFX "ゴオオオン". "Will do it the wrong way."

Alluka's face fills the frame, eyes wide and sparkling with joy, mouth open in a huge grin as radiating speed lines burst outward from her. She calls out excitedly, "ONII-CHAN!!" In the next panel Killua appears in close-up, his spiky hair whipping with motion lines, a small smile on his face as he speaks her name: "ALLUKA." The final panel shows a different girl with long straight dark hair and a calm, neutral expression against a dark, speckled background; she softly says "KILLUA..."

Killua carries Alluka on his back as they float in mid-air; her arms are wrapped around his neck and shoulders while his hands are raised. Two large speech bubbles appear: "AND PAY THE "PRICE" HIMSELF." and "WILL HAVE SOMEBODY ELSE MAKE A "REQUEST"..." Below, a two-panel sequence shows Alluka lying on the ground with a happy expression, exclaiming "OH, IT SMELLS LIKE ONII-CHAN!" and "IT'S OKAY! I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE!" while Killua, seen in profile with a serious look, apologizes twice: "I'M SORRY FOR LEAVING YOU HERE ALL ALONE." and "I'M SORRY, ALLUKA."

Narration fills the page with dire speculation. A close-up shows Illumi resting his chin on his hand as text explains that returning Gon to normal would require a wish beyond money or medicine. The thought continues that Killua will go along with Alluka's requests, putting his life on the line, and that the wish will likely be granted. Another panel depicts a massive airship over a city at night while noting that Gon must have cursed himself with creed and limitation, and that the King was such a monster that Netero was forced to use the Rose. The narration warns that Killua will die trying to grant an impossible wish, yet there will be a request that Killua won't be able to grant. Hisoka appears in the lower right, clutching his head in distress with a mission-failure card floating nearby. A final close-up of Hisoka's intense profile accompanies the line that Gon, returned to normal by the wish, would be forced to die because his most beloved person spent the most time with him.

Hisoka and Illumi stand facing each other inside a moving vehicle. Hisoka asks if something was wrong, then reacts with surprise. Illumi replies with a simple oh and huh. A black panel interrupts with the word DID YOU-. In the next exchange Illumi confirms he meant both Killua and Gon when he said both of them would die. Hisoka, looking annoyed, notes that Illumi is a piece of work too. Illumi continues that all the Zoldycks would die as well if the wish goes wrong. Hisoka, now with a tear on his cheek, says that is not good and explains that even if the wish number is in the tens of thousands, the fallout will still be massive. The final panel shows the two seated from behind at a counter as the conversation concludes.

Alluka beams with a wide smile, pointing directly forward with one finger while her headband skulls grin alongside her. She cheerfully asks, "DIE FOR ME? ♥" and calls out, "ONII-CHAN!" Killua, shown in close-up with half his face in shadow, responds quietly, "YEAH... SURE." In the final scene Alluka kneels and points again with a sharp "BANG!" sound effect; Killua lies collapsed on the ground in front of her, unmoving.

Three large speech bubbles appear against black: "BE THERE, OUT OF SIGHT.", a blank face with wide eyes, and "I'LL ASK KILLUA TO 'WISH' IN THE 'PROPER ORDER'." Smaller panels show the same face saying "END ALLUKA" and "ALLUKA..." followed by a worried expression noting "OR IF HE SAYS 'YES' BUT IS LYING..." and "IF KILLUA SAYS 'NO'..." A wide panel depicts Killua sprawled on the floor while Alluka sits with her back turned; narration states that in this respect he is just a normal kid and Alluka has no combat ability. Alluka then turns around laughing with a bright "AHA HA!" and declares "FROM WHERE HE CAME... ONLY... WE JUST DON'T KNOW-".

In a tense meeting room, several Zodiac members react to the election results. A large character with a star-patterned hat exclaims, "THIS... MEANS THAT THOSE WHO WERE TOLD THAT THEIR VOTES WERE INVALID LAST TIME..." Nearby, a tall man with an eyepatch and another with wild hair discuss the increase in absentee votes. A small figure with large eyes notes, "DIDN'T VOTE SINCE THEIR INVALID VOTES ARE ILLEGAL THIS TIME, AT THE RISK OF LOSING THEIR LICENSES!" The group agrees they have no choice but to revoke licenses from rule-breakers. One member shouts, "WHAT THE HELL!?" and "WHY WOULD THEY GO THAT FAR!?" as frustration rises. A blonde man with an earring, Pariston, watches calmly. The scene shifts to a wide view of the room where a woman with a ponytail, Kurukku, is asked to send letters requesting license returns. A bald man in a bow tie adds that another letter will ask for reasons for absence. On the right side of the page, the full election standings are displayed with Pariston at 258 votes (39.0%), followed by Cheadle, Botobai, and others, noting 68 voters absent and a 89.7% voting rate. Pariston reacts with surprise, "OH MY!" and "THIS VERY STRANGE!"

Pariston smiles confidently in close-up, declaring, "I WON'T HAVE TO FEAR ANYTHING EVEN IF I DON'T VOTE!" and noting that rule-breakers have gained free reign to skip voting multiple times. In smaller panels, he continues, "IF I WANTED TO GAIN A HIGHER VOTING RATE, I WOULD HAVE AGREED THEN," and "BESIDES, 'LICENSE LOSS WITH A TIME LIMIT' SHOULD HAVE BEEN ALL AGAINST." Ging Freecss appears with spiky hair, shouting, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO THOUGHT OF TAKING THEIR LICENSES IN THE FIRST PLACE!!" and "SO? WE ALL AGREED WITH A VOTE." Cheadle, wearing glasses, observes, "IT'S AS IF HE'S ENJOYING THE OBSTACLES OR PROBLEMS..." and "THAT'S RIGHT, WHAT I HATE ABOUT PARISTON IS HOW HE ACCEPTS AND SUGGESTS CONDITIONS THAT DISADVANTAGE HIM..." A pointing hand emerges from light, suggesting, "THEN LET ME MAKE A SUGGESTION!" The final panel shows a cloudy sky with the line, "AND THAT'S WHAT I TRULY ABHOR...!!!" and notes similarity to Chairman Netero.

Pariston stands center stage with arms outstretched, palms open toward the viewer against dramatic speed lines. He declares with a wide grin, "TO SHOW THEM HOW IMPORTANT THIS ELECTION IS! TO THE ASSOCIATION! TO MANKIND!" A second bubble continues, "LET US, THE 'TWELVE ZODIACS', HOLD A LECTURE! WITH ALL OF THE HUNTERS!!" A torn-paper sign across his chest reads "TO THE WORLD!!!" Below, a close-up shows intense eyes glaring forward as a voice insists, "WE NEED TO LOOK EACH OF THEM IN THE EYE! GIVE THEM OUR VOICES! OUR SOULS!" Another panel adds, "WE CAN'T BE SHOWING THIS THROUGH A COMPUTER SCREEN OR THE NET!" In the bottom panel a bespectacled figure leans in sharply, shouting "HATE TO DEATH ABOUT YOU, PARISTON!!" A smaller bubble adds, "FOR THE CHAIRMAN AS WELL!!" while an off-panel voice trails, "THIS WHAT I..."

Killua sits up in bed, blanket still over his head, as Alluka jumps onto him shouting "WAKE UUUUUP!" and "ONII-CHAN!!" A small "RUSTLE" sound effect appears near the blanket. Killua’s eyes widen in surprise. Alluka, wearing her headband with pins, laughs "AHAH AHAHA!" while Killua raises both hands and yells "BOO!" She praises him, "YOU'RE SO GOOD, AS ALWAYS!" Killua replies, "DON'T KNOW." Alluka continues, "THAT DAD AND THE OTHERS" and "A FEW RULES TO ALLUKA..." Killua notes, "THERE ARE." In the final wide panel they stand together outdoors; Killua says "YEAH." and "SURE!" while Alluka tugs his sleeve asking, "ONII-CHAN, LET'S PLAY SHIRITORI!"

Killua sits on the floor facing Alluka, his expression serious as he speaks. "IS THE REAL ALLUKA," he states. Alluka smiles faintly and replies, "THE ONE THAT CALLS ME 'ONII-CHAN'..." A large close-up shows Alluka's face framed by a headband of round masks displaying different emotions; her eyes are wide and sparkling as she adds, "THE ONE THAT CALLS ME 'KILLUA'..." Text beside her reads "IS 'SOME-THING ELSE' ENTIRELY." The final panel is a stark white rectangle containing only a simple black face with two large oval eyes and a small curved mouth. Vertical text on the left reads "LIMITLESS DARKNESS..." The page is marked as the end of chapter 323.
