Underground Struggle

A muscular figure with wild spiky hair twists violently in mid-air, back arched and muscles bulging under intense strain. His right arm is raised high while his left hand grips something unseen, body contorted as if reacting to a powerful force. Motion lines radiate outward from the center. In the lower tier of panels, a close-up shows a hand with fingers extended, followed by a tight shot of the same figure's intense, narrowed eyes and gritted teeth. The final panel erupts with a large impact burst and the sound effect !!! accompanied by musical notes and radiating lines, indicating a sudden powerful release or strike.

The spiky-haired fighter is suddenly struck from behind, reacting with surprise as claws rake across his back. "HUH?" he blurts while twisting mid-air. In the next instant he lunges forward, seizing the large-eared creature by the arm. "AH..." escapes his lips as he grips tightly. The creature is yanked off its feet. A massive impact follows; the fighter is hurled violently downward, body twisting as he plummets into the earth. "AH!?" he cries out while the ground erupts around him with a thunderous "Voooom." At the bottom of the pit the bald Injyuu member looms over the fallen fighter, eyes wide with cruel delight. "You choose..." he murmurs. Then, with a wicked grin, he adds, "HEEHEE! YOU CAN'T FLEE ANY MORE..." The spiky-haired man stares up in shock, gasping "AH !!!"

The spiky-haired fighter plummets deeper into darkness, limbs flailing as the ground swallows him. "Getting killed by myself under the ground?" he thinks in panic. "Or by the three others above the ground?" he wonders while silhouettes of three figures watch from the surface. A sharp "ZIN" sound effect cuts across the panel. The bald Injyuu member glares downward with intense eyes, shouting "I DIOT!!" Below, the fighter's fist clenches in desperation as he screams "AAAAH !!!" while the three watchers remain silhouetted against the light above.

A muscular fighter with wild flowing hair charges forward and delivers a crushing overhead strike, shouting "THE ONE WHO CAN'T FLEE IS YOU!!" as the ground erupts with the heavy sound effect "ZUUU". In a smaller panel his face twists with effort. Distant onlookers react with shock, one exclaiming "LIBOU IS GOING FOR REAL." while another yells "LOOK!". The sequence ends in a massive splash panel showing the fighter's fist slamming down with explosive force, the enormous speech bubble declaring "BIG BANG IMPACT !!!" amid radiating impact lines and debris.

The enormous explosion hurls several figures through the air amid flying rocks and dust. In the aftermath, close-up panels show shocked faces with sweat drops and exclamation marks. One panel highlights a large spider tattoo on the muscular fighter's back as he stands amid the settling debris. A young observer with spiky hair reacts with wide eyes while another character stares in disbelief. Text bubbles read "SPIDER'S TATTOO !!" and "HE IS...".

A group stands at the edge of a massive crater, stunned by the overwhelming aura. "I'VE NEVER SEEN SUCH A STRONG NEN!!" one exclaims as the ground rumbles with "Brrrr Zuuu Zuuu". Another voice cries "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!" while a third reacts with "...!!". Close-ups reveal wide eyes and the word "SPIDER!!" as "Tiih" sounds. The scene shifts to the devastated landscape where small figures walk across the rubble amid "GOGOGOGO" vibrations and flying debris. "THERE'S NOTHING MUCH TO SAY. THE BIG BANG IMPACT IS STILL VERY IMPRESSIVE," a voice notes. "NOW, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THEM..." another adds. "NEVERTHELESS, IT'S ONLY A DIRECT HIT PUMPED UP WITH NEN," comes the reply. In the foreground, Gon stares ahead with a determined look. "HE'S UNDER-ESTIMATING US, RIGHT?" he asks. "GENEI RYODAN : ..." appears beside him as "Pgu" marks his reaction. In the distance, a figure turns and asks "SO? WHOSE TURN?"

Gon lunges forward in a dynamic strike as speed lines radiate outward with "ZAT". He yells "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S GONNA DIE!!" while two opponents—a bald man and a haired man—react with "IDIOT!!!". One enemy counters "BUT YOU'LL DIE!!!" as Gon presses the attack. "I SEE THAT YOU'RE NOT COWARDS," Gon states. "FINE," the opponent replies. A massive impact erupts with "ZUUUUUM" and explosive effects. The bald fighter transforms, his body covered in solid needles. "I CAN MODIFY MY BODY AS I WISH TO MAKE OUT OF IT A UNITY OF HAIRS, OR SOLID NEEDLES," he declares as Gon reacts with "!?".

The muscular, spiky-haired fighter Ubogin stands tall after delivering a powerful blow. "Slat" rings out as his fist connects. In the next panel, he faces a small, hedgehog-like opponent who clings to his arm. Speech bubbles declare, "Your punch was very powerful... But it's useless if it can't reach me." Ubogin glares with intense focus. Below, a black-haired boy is struck hard, sent flying with "Tap tap" and impact lines as the hedgehog creature slashes across Ubogin's torso with "Slash." A young girl watches from the side and comments, "They're pretty good at using their Nen. They're doing fine." Narration notes that Ubogin, who brags of having a steel body, was touched by hair and teeth.

Ubogin growls in frustration, declaring the attacks worthless and vowing to use the opponent as a punch. "Vim" sound effects accompany his strained movements. In the distance, two small figures stand on a rocky path while a voice offers help to Ubogin. Suddenly, Ubogin lunges forward with a massive "SLAM" that shakes the ground, sending the black-haired boy tumbling. The hedgehog-like fighter then transforms, smoothing his spikes and stating he can modify his body at will, making himself partially smooth. A close-up shows a wide-eyed reaction from another observer.

The muscular fighter with wild hair roars in pain as a gunshot-like impact strikes him. "BLAM" echoes while Gon tumbles backward from the force. The fighter snarls, "ARGH !!!" and declares "ONLY MUSCLES ... THEY WON'T TAKE YOU VERY FAR..." as Gon lands in a crouch. "GET AWAY !!!" someone shouts. The fighter lunges forward with a powerful punch, "CRAC" and "CRIC" sound effects bursting around his arm. Gon and Killua watch in shock, eyes wide. The fighter explains his tactic: he spared the neck and head so the victim can still feel pain and fear. "I WISH YOU PLEASURE," he says with a grin. The poison from his fangs begins to take effect, paralyzing the nervous system. Gon stands tense beside Killua as the fighter looms, his silhouette bristling with power.

A short-haired man with a grotesque leech-like tongue slurps loudly, "Slurp! Slurp!" while pressing against the muscular fighter's chest covered in leeches. The fighter grimaces as countless leeches writhe and suck, marked with "Sss" and "うぇ" sound effects. The short-haired man laughs, "HEHEHE! I HAVE AN UNCOUNTABLE NUMBER OF LEECHES THAT LIKE HUMAN FLESH." He reveals he made a special present of leeches that lay eggs in the bladder. Some leeches cure diseases while others transmit them. When the eggs hatch, victims suffer so much they die just from seeing it. The fighter stands exposed, leeches covering his torso, as the short-haired man continues explaining the horrifying effects. Thousands of baby leeches will emerge with the urine at the worst possible moment.

A muscular beast-like man with wild spiky hair sinks his teeth deep into the shoulder of a black-haired man, blood spraying as he crunches down hard. The victim grimaces in pain while the attacker growls with satisfaction. In close-up panels the beast-man continues chewing, commenting that the meal is not very tasty but acceptable for low-class prey. The black-haired man stares in shock, blood on his face. The beast-man questions what is so surprising and mocks the idea that only one person can bite. With a splash of blood he pulls back slightly. In a large bottom panel the beast-man's face fills the frame, eyes fierce, declaring his head and neck are enough to kill as motion lines and onomatopoeia emphasize his rage.

A sudden close-up shows the black-haired man's eyes widening in extreme shock as a bone is spat out toward him. The beast-like man appears in a small panel still chewing with a CRUNCH sound and a fiut noise as something flies out. The black-haired man raises his hand in alarm, realizing the projectile is a bone and questioning if it is a bullet. In the bottom panel his hand is shown with a fresh wound where the bone has struck, skin torn and bleeding. His face twists in pain and surprise as motion lines and impact effects fill the frame.

The spiky-haired fighter with earrings glares intensely and shouts "HAZUKI!!" as a projectile launches with a "GLOUPS" sound. His opponent, a smaller spiky-haired figure, reacts with shock "!!!" before being struck hard, the impact marked by a massive "BOM" that sends him reeling. The muscular spiky-haired man laughs triumphantly with a huge "HA" as he declares, "BUT IT'S USELESS! WHATEVER PROJECTILE HE USES, I'LL BE ABLE TO REPELL AND RETURN IT TO HIM! HEEHEE!" while wondering "IS IT MY TURN ?!" The scene emphasizes the returned attack and the fighter's confident posture amid motion lines and impact effects.

A group including a light-haired man in a dark vest and a topknotted man cover their ears as a loud "Brrrr Brrrr カ゛ラ カ゛ラ" sound shakes the rocky area. A massive round creature with wide eyes and an open mouth unleashes a powerful sonic blast with radiating lines. In the aftermath, the spiky-haired muscular fighter apologizes "SORRY. The spiky-haired Injyuu member looms over the scene, explaining the leech threat with a wide grin. "For you, it shouldn't be a problem, should it? Plus, before the sound reached you, you could've clogged up your ears." Below, a figure runs forward as an explosion erupts from the ground. "Damn it! What am I gonna do?" Tap. The leech user continues, "Deme-chan can inhale poisons, but not living beings. With your vacuum, it should be easy, right? Shizuku! Can you inhale the poison and the leeches they injected into me? So, you see... No, that's true..." A close-up shows the creature's grotesque form. The explanation deepens: "If the one contained in the urine is too low, the eggs evacuate as they were with the urine, without any pain. But, to hatch, the eggs need a strong and stable concentration of ammoniac. The eggs hatch out immediately, and death is provoked by the terrible pain felt when the baby leeches come out at the same time as the urine. Those are Madarite leeches, a race of leeches that, in less than a day, lay their eggs in the bladder of living beings and die." Gon appears in the foreground, holding a small leech between his fingers with a calm smile. "When your urine turns from black to white, you can consider yourself to be saved. So, until tomorrow, you're gonna drink lots of beer, and pee often." A sound effect reads "critch" as he grips the creature.

Kurapika stands in the foreground wearing his traditional outfit, staring ahead with a stern expression. From off-panel, a voice calls out, "Kurapika! What are you doing?!" Another voice questions, "Are you kidding?! You saw what he's capable of, didn't you? What do you think? I'm gonna stop him." Kurapika replies flatly, "So what?" A close-up shows his intense eyes and hair. Below, a battered man with a chain around his neck reacts in shock, "Ugh?!" while another figure lies injured on the ground. The chained man warns, "If you don't all act... it's too dangerous..." Sound effects mark impacts: "crac" and "TAP". In the distance, several figures stand on a rocky plain. Kurapika's posture remains resolute as the confrontation unfolds.

Hisoka stands with arms crossed in a dimly lit room, speaking casually. "GO FOR IT, NO PROBLEM..." he says. "IF YOU'RE BACK BEFORE TOMORROW AFTERNOON, 8:00PM." He turns away, adding, "I MADE A RENDEZ-VOUS WITH SOMEONE TODAY. I'LL BE BACK." In the next panel his leg steps down onto rubble outside a ruined building as he remarks, "I FORGOT," with a "TAP" sound effect. Chrollo sits reading a book, a cross marking his forehead, and asks, "A DIRTY TRICK, HISOKA?" A close-up shows Hisoka's face in profile, a dark teardrop mark beneath his eye, replying, "EVIDENTLY." The scene shifts to Leorio in a suit standing before a large building at night. He gestures while speaking with Gon and another boy. "SAY, LEORIO..." Leorio responds, "THERE WAS NO DOUBTING IT..." Gon exclaims, "YOU MEAN THERE'S SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE NEN?!" and "WHAT?" Leorio continues, "THAT'S WHAT'S CALLED THE 'TEN.'"

Against a vast white background, Killua sits holding a small dark object between his fingers. A "cratch" sound effect appears near his hand as he examines the item closely, a slight smile on his face.
