Does Bonney find out about the letters?

Hinted

What the manga shows

1 chapter · updated

Bonney never learns that Kuma sent her letters which Alpha intercepted and destroyed. The sources show Bonney repeatedly disappointed by the lack of mail and waiting anxiously at the empty mailbox on her ninth birthday. Alpha tears up the arriving envelopes addressed "To Bonney" while commenting on how mushy they are and how many Kuma sends each month. Bonney remains unaware during these events and instead spars or celebrates without any letters reaching her. Later she realizes the agents have kept her imprisoned past her cure and questions why Kuma sent no letters at all, prompting her escape to find him. The manga never states outright that she discovers the interception itself. "There's still no letter..." "Daddy... I'm nine now... You said you'd write..." ch. 1101, p. 12 "One last thing, Bonney... You're probably sick of me saying this, but... I love you so much. I'll be sure to write again soon." ch. 1101, p. 8

The manga never states that Bonney finds out about the intercepted letters directly.
