Saul told Robin she would meet her nakama and that once born into this world she would never be alone. In the Ohara flashback Saul urges the young girl to run with all her might while warning that staying means death and no one on the island can answer her questions ch. 397, p. 13. He promises that the sea is vast and she will find people who will protect her ch. 397, p. 13. Saul gives her the lasting words "Once ye'r born into dis world, yer neva gonna be alone!!!" and tells her to smile while laughing his distinctive laugh ch. 397, p. 14. Earlier he shouts for her to be proud because her mother and Ohara are honorable and to pass on the island's history someday ch. 396, p. 15. These statements occur while Saul shields Robin from cannon fire and later while ice encases him during the Buster Call. The exchanges focus on encouraging Robin to survive and carry forward Ohara's legacy despite the destruction around them.
