The manga never identifies any episode in which Law talks to Sengoku. Chapter 798 depicts their conversation on the south coast of Dressrosa three days after the battle. Sengoku tells Law that Rosinante almost certainly did not save him for his name and warns him not to sully that love with imagined conditions. ch. 798, p. 10 Sengoku notes that those of the D always lead lives steeped in tragedy and says it is strange that the only person with whom he can share memories of Rosinante is a pirate. ch. 798, p. 10 He asks Law to remember Rosinante, adding that alone is enough and that Rosinante would have said, "JUST KEEP ON LIVING..." ch. 798, p. 10
