Hunter Exam arc

The Hunter Exam arc of Hunter × Hunter runs chapters 1 to 40 — 40 chapters and 820 pages, each read page by page. It opens: A series of panels depicts bizarre and terrifying creatures: a multi-eyed beast with horns and claws, a round fluffy creature, a massive fanged monster with a spotted tongue, and other strange animals. Text reads: "MONSTROUS ANIMALS, RARE SPECIES..." The next panel shows glittering treasures, jewels, and artifacts scattered among ruins with the caption "BURIED RICHES, HIDDEN TREASURES..."
