In the bustling upper floors of Heaven's Arena, a crowd mills beneath the grand arched ceiling. Voices recount a chilling encounter: "WE WERE MISTAKEN ABOUT HIM... WHEN OUR EYES CROSSED, THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR STRENGTH APPEARED CLEARLY TO ME. I FELT LIKE PREY THAT WAS GOING TO BE DEVOURED BY ITS PREDATOR." Another adds, "HE HAS THE EYES OF A GUY WHO LIVES ON THE DARK SIDE." A third speaker admits, "WE DIDN'T THINK HE WAS SERIOUS BECAUSE HE'S A KID, BUT IT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE." A small device beeps "Bip" as a figure checks it. In a modest room, a young fighter in a cap asks, "WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?" Wing, wearing his distinctive headgear, sits with arms crossed and replies, "I SUGGEST YOU BE CAREFUL, AS I DON'T DOUBT YOU'RE NEXT ON THE LIST." Another voice states, "I DIDN'T WANT TO DIE, SO I QUIT." Wing continues explaining their situation: "FOR EXAMPLE, IF WE BUILD A PREPARATORY SCHOOL, WE MAKE OURSELVES LECTURERS OR ADVISERS... WITH ONLY THE ENSIGN, WE'LL GET A LOT OF MONEY." He adds, "WITH THE TITLE OF FLOOR MASTERS, WE WON'T HAVE ANY MORE REASON TO STAY HERE. WE'RE CLOSE TO BECOMING FLOOR MASTERS." In close-up, Wing declares with determination, "I GO ON, WHATEVER THE TRICKS I HAVE TO USE."

Wing points emphatically while correcting Killua: "YOU'RE COMPLETELY WRONG." He analyzes the opponent further: "HIS PRUDENT ATTITUDE PROVES TO US THAT HE'S NOT AN UNREACHABLE ADVERSARY. HE THREATENED SADASO, BUT IF HE DIDN'T COME TO ME, IT'S ONLY BECAUSE HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT I'M ABLE TO DO. HE'S UNTRUSTING." Killua stands in a doorway as Wing, seen from behind, warns him: "I ONLY THOUGHT I COULD WARN YOU WHENEVER I WISHED. IT HAS NOTHIN' TO DO WITH YOUR ABILITIES." Sweat drops appear on Wing's head. In a later panel Wing states, "WHEN YOU SLEEP, WHEN YOU'RE IN THE BATHROOM..." Killua finishes the thought with a cold stare: "WHENEVER AND WHEREVER." A dramatic close-up shows Killua's intense profile against a black background. He declares, "BECAUSE WHATEVER YOU DO, WE'LL STILL WIN." Wing's final advice appears in a large bubble: "ONE POINT OF ADVICE : RESPECT THE RULES."

A figure with a bowl-cut helmet emits a quiet 'Pff' while another panel shows a spiky-haired boy seated in a wheeled chair inside a room as a cloaked person knocks on the door marked 'KNOCK'. The cloaked figure laughs 'HE HE HE' with a close-up of their rear. In the next scene the spiky-haired boy and the cloaked person sit together with pig-faced spectators in the background; the cloaked person says 'YES...' while the boy replies 'YOU SEE, WE HAVE TO FIGHT LOYALLY.' Inside a wooden-floored room Leorio bursts through the doorway shouting 'YES!' and addresses Gon and Killua: 'GON, KILLUA, THE DAY OF YOUR MATCHES HAS COME, ARE YOU READY?' Gon stands below looking up. In close-up Gon answers 'IN FACT...' while Leorio asks if Gon has thought about his opponent. Leorio continues 'GON, IT'S AN OPPONENT YOU'VE ALREADY FOUGHT, SO I DON'T HAVE ANY ADVICE TO GIVE YOU.' Gon turns away thinking aloud 'I WAS THINKING ABOUT USING THIS...' Leorio reacts with surprise. A close-up shows a bald boy with wide eyes asking 'A FISHING ROD?' Leorio's face appears saying 'OBVIOUSLY...' The final panel depicts a small figure dangling from a long fishing rod leaning against a dresser with a vase on top.

In the vast circular arena, the announcer raises his arm and declares that the revenge match everyone has been waiting for shall begin. A large caption box recalls that on the 11th of March Gon was sent to the hospital and asks how he will fight this time against Guido. Gon stands tall holding a long fishing rod with a heavy weight at the end. In a close-up, Gon looks forward with focus as the crowd reacts in shock, noting that today he has brought a fishing rod. Spectators in the stands shout questions about what kind of match they will see. In the foreground a stern man with a headband gestures and announces the rules: victory by points or K.O., no time limit, one set only.

"I HAVE NO PROBLEM KNOWING WHAT YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT," a voice declares from off-panel. Gon narrows his eyes. "SO HE GUESSED..." he realizes. The top begins its relentless rotation with repeated "CLAK" sounds. "SO, IT'S NORMAL THAT EVERYONE THINKS OF ATTACKING ME BEFORE I BEGIN SPINNING," the opponent explains. "ONCE I'VE BEGUN SPINNING, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO STOP ME!" Multiple smaller tops launch outward in a barrage, marked by sharp "TAC TAC TAC" sound effects and impact lines. Gon watches in shock as the flying tops fill the air. "HE CAN THROW SPINNING TOPS WHILE HE HIMSELF IS SPINNING?!" he exclaims. The panel erupts with the labeled technique "SHOTGUN TOP BLUES" amid flying debris and motion lines.

The spinning tops continue their assault with fierce velocity, tearing through the air toward the opponent. "THIS TECHNIQUE IS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN THE 'WALTZ OF THE SPINNING TOPS'!!! ALL OF THEM TAKE YOU AS A TARGET!!" the top user shouts. "YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TROUBLE STOPPING THEM!" Gon stands ready on the far side of the arena. In close-up panels, Gon's expression hardens as he activates his ability. "REN!!!" he yells with intense focus. The tops collide violently around the armored opponent, creating bursts of impact and debris. "TAC WHAT?!" the opponent reacts in surprise as the barrage overwhelms his position, with "TAC" effects surrounding the chaotic scene.

Gon stands tall before the shattered remains of the spinning tops, his fishing rod held ready as the crowd erupts in shock. "Ooooh!" the spectators cry while the narration declares he pulverized them all. In just two months Gon has become a completely different person. The opponent grits his teeth in frustration, thinking "DAMN... WITH HIS NEN, HIS STRENGTH HAS INCREASED A LOT! My spinning tops will be useless against him now...!" Nearby, Killua watches with a serious expression, noting that because they wanted to use Zushi it means Gon is really upset. The opponent realizes a direct attack was foolish given Gon's enhanced sight, which could have pushed the tops back with the rod. Gon grips his weapon tightly and declares "THIS TIME ..." as the panel shows him preparing his next move.

From a high angle the arena floor shows the remaining top still spinning as Gon prepares his next action. The opponent wonders what kind of technique Gon will use. Gon swings his fishing rod with force, shouting "IT'S MY TURN!" while the wire extends dramatically. The opponent realizes there is only one possibility: an attack with the fishing rod that catches the wire on some part of his body. He yells "AIE!" and "YAA!" as the line wraps around him. Gon’s intense close-up face shows fierce determination. The opponent questions whether Gon really thinks he can stop the rotation, but the rod strikes with a loud "CLANG" and the top is sent flying amid impact effects.

Gon leaps through the air and hurls his fishing line directly at the glowing, spinning figure of Guido. The wire extends with a sharp SLAT and a long Fuuuull as it races toward its target. A narrator exclaims that the fight is beginning and Gon has launched his wire at Guido. The line strikes the whirling mass but is instantly deflected amid heavy impact lines. In a close-up of Guido’s rotating form, the opponent declares that the attack is useless. Guido adds with a smirk that this is exactly what he thought would happen.

Gon’s face shows intense focus as he watches the result. The wire is violently repelled with a sharp KLING and a burst of impact lines. Guido’s spinning top-like form remains unharmed on the arena floor. A narrator notes that Guido received no damage because he put his Nen into ultra-fast rotation, preventing the wire from catching. Guido taunts that it is a pity Gon cannot hang on to the line. The spinning object continues to clash with CLAC CLAC sounds while Gon stands ready in the background.

In the arena, a small projectile strikes a distant target with a sharp TIK, sending cracks across the surface as a surprised !? flashes. The ball on its cord whips through the air with a loud SH!!!, carving motion lines across the tiled floor. Gon stands tall in the foreground, his expression resolute as he declares, "NOW, IT'S FINE!!" Below, the weighted weapon slams into a metallic surface with a heavy CLAK, sparks flying from the impact.

Gon unleashes a powerful yell, "YAAAAAAA!!!!!" his face twisted in effort as speed lines radiate outward. The corded weapon slices through the air and smashes into a large platform, shattering it with explosive force marked by SLAT and FOO. Debris flies in all directions while an opponent figure grips a long weapon in the lower right, reacting to the sudden destruction.

In the arena ring, a massive flagstone is torn upward with tremendous force. Narration wonders aloud, "WHO COULD'VE THOUGHT THIS WOULD HAPPEN?" and explains, "HE LIFTED A FLAGSTONE OF THE RING, AND GUIDO WITH IT!!" A heavy "DOOM" shakes the scene. The XXK-hatted man tumbles through the air, eyes wide with shock as he cries "Ah!" Impact lines and debris fly as he is struck, shouting "OUCH." Close panels capture his startled expression and the sudden "!!" of realization. The hatted fighter lands hard, staff in hand, gasping "AH..." as a star-shaped impact bursts against him with a sharp "SHUT," sending cracks through the broken ring floor.

Gon's fist rockets forward with radiating speed lines, his face set in fierce determination. The XXK-hatted man stares in shock, his eye filling a panel as he begins, "YOU'VE WO-" only to cut off with "UH--WAIT..." A massive "BLAM" erupts as the punch connects, sending the hatted fighter flying backward in an explosion of debris and motion lines. His body is hurled across the shattered ring floor, arms flailing, while three exclamation marks punctuate the devastating impact.

The arena floor is cracked and damaged from the intense clash. A strange costumed figure lies sprawled and broken after its metal support was shattered. "It will be impossible for him to continue the match!" a voice declares. "He broke Guido's metal support!!" The defeated opponent twitches with a large eye visible through its torn mask as debris scatters. "That was payback," Gon states firmly. "Listen carefully..." In a dramatic close-up, Gon glares with intense eyes, his right fist clenched and stained with dirt or blood. "And next time, it's your face that will be punched. And I'll put all my strength into it!!" he warns. "Lay a hand on Zushi one more time..."
