Chiffon and Lola are not the same person. Chiffon and Lola are sisters who look exactly alike. Chiffon was used as Lola's substitute in a marriage proposal to a giant prince. ch. 858, p. 10 Their father recognizes Chiffon separately from Lola and refers to both daughters. ch. 879, p. 9 Chiffon states that Lola is considered a criminal who would be killed if she returned. ch. 858, p. 10 Chiffon repeatedly calls Lola her sister and hopes Lola will return home one day. ch. 879, p. 10 "LOLA IS CONSIDERED A CRIMINAL IN THIS COUNTRY!" ch. 858, p. 10 "THE ONLY FITTING CHOCOLATE MINISTER OF CHOCOLATOWN IS SISTER LOLA!" ch. 879, p. 10 "IT GOT EVEN WORSE AFTER THAT. THEY TRIED TO USE ME AS LOLA'S SUBSTITUTE, BUT... THEY FOUND OUT THAT I WASN'T LOLA." ch. 858, p. 10 The sources establish that the two are distinct individuals despite their identical appearance and shared family ties.
