Crew members hail him as the hero of Fishman Island and savior of all the slaves he released, declaring a lifelong debt to him ch. 623, p. 17. He also returned the former slave Koala to her homeland on Foolshout Island after the Sun Pirates found an eternal pose to guide her there ch. 623, p. 6. In his final moments Tiger reflects on his refusal to accept human blood despite knowing kind-hearted humans exist, yet he had acted on his selfish wish to free those he witnessed enslaved ch. 623, p. 16. "YOU ARE THE HERO OF FISHMAN ISLAND!!! AS FAR AS ALL THE SLAVES YOU RELEASED ARE CONCERNED... YOU ARE OUR SAVIOUR, AND WE OWE YOU A LIFELONG DEBT!!!" ch. 623, p. 17. "...A SLAVE!!!
