Fisher Tiger
Fisher Tiger is a fishman adventurer who climbed the Red Line alone to free slaves in Mariejoa. He formed the Sun Pirates with those freed slaves and made an enemy of the World Government while leading attacks on marine vessels. Fisher Tiger is known for earning the title Hero of the Slaves and for changing the brands on former slaves into the symbol of the sun so they could not be singled out. He served as de facto leader of the Fishman District before leaving to find adventure and later returned as captain of the Sun Pirates with Jimbei as his second-in-command.

Personality
Fisher Tiger abandoned future hopes to save those suffering immediately and states that the life of a slave is a hell. He declares there are countless kind-hearted humans yet his resentment and hatred remain as they die and vanish while concluding it is too late for him and that he can no longer love humans.34
Tiger desperately begs the girl not to reveal the tragedy or the crew's rage toward humans to the people of Fishman Island while lying in a weakened bloodied state. He responds that being called a hero makes him happy spoken faintly while lying wounded and internally states that his mind sees the truth but the demon in his heart remains firm.4

Attack on Mariejoa
Fisher Tiger climbed the Red Line alone to free slaves in Mariejoa and shouted for slaves to run during the escape. He freed many Fishman slaves who escaped to sea aboard the Sun Pirates ship after forming the Sun Pirates with former slaves. Narration states Tiger formed the Sun Pirates with former slaves and made an enemy of the World Government.56

Tiger led a fish-man pirate crew on their ship with Hachi present as a crew member. He fought marines relentlessly after the rebellion and ordered attack on attacking vessels while declaring fight against government. The Sun Pirates originated from Tiger's freed slave crew and the Fishman District crew united to protect Tiger.78
Command of the Sun Pirates
Fifteen years ago Fisher Tiger sat sternly inside the Sun Pirates ship during a storm and asked whether the approaching vessel belonged to the marines. His crew shouted warnings about the enemy ship while Hachi tried to quiet the noise. The captain maintained a severe glare as subordinates reported the threat.9
Return to Fishman District
Tiger started an institution to care for orphaned children in the Fishman District but later left the country to find adventure. Upon his return the crowd cheered his arrival and asked him to tell about his travels while he greeted Jimbei and Arlong. He mentioned business at the palace and admitted the latest trip had taken a while before departing again.810
Tiger returned from his travels to the Fishman District where crowds greeted him as an adventurer and asked about his journeys. He had once led the district as its de facto head before departing the country. Upon arrival he announced business at the palace and later reflected on the suffering he witnessed during his time away.1112
Final days
Tiger is gravely wounded and lying inside a ship while a young girl identified as Koala stands near him. He explicitly requests that the tragedy and rage not be told to Fishman Island and dies on the ship deck surrounded by his crew. Narration confirms the end of Fisher Tiger's life as captain after humans refused a blood transfusion.1314
