One Piece Chapter 1011: Anko Standards

A massive colorful splash page depicts the Straw Hats enjoying giant ice cream sundaes in a tropical paradise. Luffy tumbles upside-down from a massive ice cream cone at the top. Nami's giant face licks an enormous sundae on the right. Chopper, Usopp, Sanji, Franky, Brook, and others scramble among melting scoops, toppings, and candy. A narration box reads: "It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts while eating a SOFT SERVE". Vertical text on the sides announces: "THE MOMENTOUS SHOWDOWN WITH THE EMPERORS IS FINALLY HEATING UP!! Enjoy the color spread!!" and "THE LONG ANTICIPATED WANO VIVRE CARDS ARE COMING! STARTER SET VOLUME 1 RELEASES ON APRIL 30TH!!" The bottom states the manga starts on page 27. Eiichiro Oda's signature appears bottom right.

The chapter title page opens with two close-up panels. A masked samurai-like figure with a helmet says, "LOOK-- SHE'S A LIVELY, OLD BAT...". Beside him, a goggled man with wild flaming hair grimaces, replying, "WHAT A PAIN...". The title reads "CHAPTER 1011: ANKO STANDARDS*" with a note "T/N: ANKO = RED BEAN PASTE. IT'S USED TO MAKE OSHIRUKO SOUP." The next wide panel shows a massive explosion erupting from rocky terrain as figures flee, with the goggled man shouting "LET'S SCRAM!!" amid "TAP TAP TAP!!" sounds and a huge "AAARGH!!" from the blast. The bottom panels continue the chaos: the goggled man yells "WHAT THE HELLI! DIDN'T WE JUST DEAL WITH THE LIGHTNING ONEI!" as another massive creature-like explosion erupts with "ゴォォォォ!!!" and "AAARGH!!".

Big Mom looms in the sky, arms spread wide as she shouts, "SHOW ME YOUR POWER, HERA!!" A translator note identifies Hera as the goddess in Greek mythology, sister and wife of Zeus. She laughs wildly, "NOW LET'S SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO!!" Below, a fierce samurai-like man with dark hair grins and replies, "CERTAINLY, MAMA ♥" while a tongue-like figure giggles, "O-HO HOHO HOHO ♥" A small panel shows a surprised face asking "UPI" The next translator note explains the female personification of lightning in Roman mythology. Suddenly a massive lightning attack erupts with the sound "FUL-GORA!!" as a horned, skull-faced figure is blasted backward amid debris and impact lines.

On the rooftop, a massive explosion rocks the area as someone yells, "WHAT'S HAPPENING!I ARE YOU OKAY!!!" and "MAMA!!" A figure cries out, "I'LL SAVE YOU!!" while another voice wonders, "MAMA, WHERE ARE YOUI" and notes, "KID MUST HAVE HIS HANDS FULL..." A small creature-like being looks shocked, "OH!! HUHI IT FELL APART..." with sound effects "ガララ..." and "ガシャン!!" In a wide landscape shot, a lone figure stands amid rocky terrain as a voice says, "ALRIGHT." and "AH!" with popping sounds "POP POP POP! ぱちぱち!!" A bearded man with a crown huffs, "HUFF HUFF" and declares, "BIG MOM'S IN THE CASTLE NOW, BUT THINGS COULD GET DICEY IF SHE GETS THE CLOUD BACK!! HEY, STRAW HAT-YA, I'M GONNA TAKE EVERYONE ELSE WITH ME!!"

Kaido's massive dragon form coils in the distance as narration reads, "THE GREATER THE RISK, THE WIDER YOUR SMILE." and "AND THE WIDER YOUR SMILE..." A voice notes, "LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE ENJOYING THIS FIGHT." Kaido laughs, "WORORO RORORO!!" with heavy breathing "HUFF... HUFF..." Luffy stands facing him, a small "HI..." reaction visible. In close-up, Kaido's scaled face asks, "...RIGHTI" Luffy grins widely, laughing "HA... HA... HA..." The fight erupts as Kaido swings his kanabo with massive impact sounds "ビビビビ!!" sending Luffy flying through shattering rocks. Luffy looks back with a question mark, surprised.

Kaido's dragon form crashes through the terrain with heavy strikes "ゴゴゴ" and explosive impacts. Luffy is hurled backward by the force. In a dramatic clash, Kaido swings his spiked club while Luffy leaps in mid-air, dodging or countering amid flying debris and motion lines marked "ザキ". The sequence ends with a massive close-up of Kaido's horned, skull-like face roaring amid smoke and destruction, the sound "ドーン!!" echoing as the ground erupts.

Inside the ruined castle interior, Kid and Killer survey the destruction after being blasted backward. Kid growls, "WE'RE INSIDE THE CASTLE..." Killer replies, "DAMN, WE GOT BLOWN WAY BACK! WHERE ARE WEI!" A sign marks "CASTLE INTERIOR, KID AND KILLER'S LOCATION" with a floor diagram. Kid notes, "BUT SHE'S NOT COMING AFTER US." They realize the massive hole sent them flying to another floor. Beast Pirates swarm the area shouting "GET THEM!!" and "THAT'S CAPTAIN KID AND KILLER!!" One yells, "WE CAN'T LET HER REGROUP WITH KAIDO!!" Another urges, "SHE'S GOTTA BE DOWNSTAIRS! HURRY!!" Kid and Killer flee deeper into the castle as pursuers close in.

Kid swings his massive metal arm in a powerful arc, shouting "STRAW SWORD!!" as the attack lashes out. A voice commands "MOVE." Hawkins appears amid the chaos, prompting shocked reactions of "HAWKINS!!" and "!!I" Hawkins calmly states, "DEFEAT WAS INEVITABLE, RESISTANCE FUTILE. I MADE THE ONLY CHOICE POSSIBLE. IT'S EXTRAORDINARY THAT YOU BOTH SURVIVED." He adds, "APOO HAD ALREADY SOLD US OUT." Killer snarls back, "YOU'VE GOT BALLS IF YOU THINK YOU CAN GET IN OUR WAY, YOU DAMN RAT!"

Kid charges forward while allies shout "KID'S GETTING AWAY!!" and "KID, GO ON AHEAD!!" Someone calls "WE CAN'T LET BIG MOM RUN AMOK." Big Mom's presence looms as Hawkins remarks, "THIS SIMPLIFIES THINGS... MY ODDS OF SIMULTANEOUSLY SUPPRESSING BOTH OF YOU WERE VERY UNFAVORABLE." He continues, "YOU'RE STILL RELYING ON FORTUNESI UNLIKE YOU, WE TAKE MATTERS INTO OUR OWN HANDS!" and declares "YOUR WORDS ARE MEANINGLESS. YOUR LIKELIHOOD OF DEATH... IS 92%!! THAT'S MY ROLE IN THE TRAGEDY OF HITOKIRI KAMAZO!!" with a sinister laugh "FA FA FA FA!!"

Hawkins and Killer clash verbally on the upper floor. Killer growls, "I'M NOT WISHING FOR ANYTHING. SCREW YOU AND YOUR LUCK!!" Hawkins retorts, "YOU CAN ONLY WISH FOR LUCK," as their attacks collide with heavy impact sounds. The scene shifts to the 2nd floor where fighters battle a massive dino-man. A voice cries, "GYAAH!! THE DINO-MAN IS CLINGING ONTO KOMACHIYO!!" Combatants yell, "RIGHT BACK AT YOU! WHY DON'T YOU GIVE UPI!" and "HOW MANY SHOTS CAN THIS GUY TAKEI! HIS RESILIENCE IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!!" as dust and debris fly amid the fierce struggle.

Two terrified figures cling desperately to a massive scaly creature, screaming at the top of their lungs. "GO AWAY!!" one yells while the other shouts, "'CAUSE WE DON'T WANNA DIE!! LET GO, YOU CREEPY LIZARD!!" Below, Usopp and allies swarm a giant spotted beast resembling a dragon-lion hybrid, shouting attack cues in rapid succession: "TRY THE SOLAR PLEXUS!! HIS ADAM'S APPLE!! HIS TEMPLE!! THE JAW!! USOPP!! AIM FOR HIS VITALS! HIS EYES!! THE NOSTRILS!!" The creature growls "UGH..." as blows land. In the lower panels Tama speaks with determination, "SO I SHOULD BE ABLE TO TAKE CHARGE OF THEM ALL......ONCE WE REACH THE LIVE FLOOR'S STAGE!! HORS ELLA'S FEEDING MY DANGO TO LOTS OF BAD GUYS," while Komachiyo pants heavily, "WEEZ HUFF. WEEZ WEEZ... WOOF!" Tama cheers, "WE'RE SO CLOSE!! KOMACHIYO, HANG IN THERE!!"

Tama's face fills the frame, eyes wide and pleading as she cries, "BUT WE CAN'T STOP TILL I'VE DONE THAT. PLEASE... HOLD ON A LITTLE LONGER!! IT'S MY JOB TO TURN THEM INTO ALLIES! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HAPPENS TO ME AFTER THAT." Komachiyo barks furiously, "WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!" while Tama's allies reassure her: "I KNOW, BUT... YOUR BIG SIS AND UNCLE WILL PROTECT YOU!! TAMA! DON'T BE SILLY!! HOW AM I AN UNCLEI! I'M ONLY 19!" The beast charges forward in a massive explosion labeled "FLOWER FIREWORKS!!" as Usopp launches an attack, yelling "ARRGH!!" and "GET DOWN!! LETHAL GREEN STAR!!"

Usopp's Lethal Green Star explodes in a burst of light and smoke with the onomatopoeia "ドサッ" and "WOOSH!" He apologizes, "MY BAD! MY WEAPONS AREN'T MEANT FOR CLOSE COMBAT! STILL, I'LL DEFINITELY FINISH HIM..." while a companion warns, "SO HOT!! USOPP, BE CAREFUL!!" The lizard-like foe grunts "HMI" as Usopp questions, "HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLESI!" A massive follow-up blast erupts with the cry "EXPLODING PINE CONES!!" and the creature howls "ARRRRGH!!!" The final panel shows the beast's furious face as someone shouts, "BULL'S EYE!!"

The lizard man snarls in frustration, "IT SUCKS WE CAN'T USE A KIBI DANGO ON HIM JUST 'CAUSE HE DIDN'T EAT A SMILE!! WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THESE DINOSAUR TYPESI! THAT LONG-NOSED BASTARD!!" The beast continues growling, "G'YAAAAH!! HE'S STILL GETTING UP!! WEEZ... WEEZ..." In a chaotic indoor scene the massive creature rampages while a voice yells, "KID, STOP HIDING!!" The impact sends debris flying. Tama, Usopp, and the long-haired fighter stare in shock as a new threat appears; Tama gasps "BIG MOOOMI!" while the others scream in terror, "AH! WHAAA AAAAAAAA AAAAATI!"

A young girl with short black hair beams and waves excitedly, shouting "OLIN-CHAN!!" A massive, grotesque face looms in, snarling "CAT BURGLAR AND LONG NOSE... YOU'RE STRAW HATS!!" and "GYAAA AAAH!!" while another voice exclaims "HM!I" In the next sequence, the girl (Otama) stands with an older woman in a polka-dot kimono (Olin) amid a ruined street. Otama asks "SO WHAT'S GOING ON, OTAMAI!" as Olin worries "YOU VANISHED WHEN WE GOT TO UDON!! I WAS SO WORRIED ABOUT YOU, OLIN!!" and "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN A SCARY PLACE LIKE THISI!" A bystander stammers "A-ARE YOU TWO... FRIENDSI" Olin's expression darkens as she notes "NOT GOOD... IT'S MAMA'S 'MOTHERING MODE!' SHE SOMETIMES GETS LIKE THIS AROUND KIDS UNDER 10!" Otama recalls "IT WAS SO TASTY!! I'LL NEVER FORGET THE FLAVOR OF THE OSHIRUKO SOUP THAT POOR OTSURU GAVE ME IN OKOBORE TOWN." Olin beams "WOW! YOU GOT YOUR MEMORIES BACK~I! THAT'S WONDERFUL~! I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AFTER ME BACK WHEN I HAD AMNESIA." Otama reacts with "AH... HMI"

Otama stares in shock as narration and voices recount "THE TOWN WAS BURNT TO THE GROUND BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY ATE ALL THE STOLEN FOOD..." "EVERYONE LIED TO PROTECT THE SAMURAI AND KEEP THE RAID A SECRET." "TORCH THEM AND THEIR HOUSES!!" "REBEL SCUM!!" and "IT'S JUST THAT... OKOBORE TOWN IS GONE NOW..." "GONEI" Flashbacks show the burning town and fleeing figures. Olin serves soup, saying "DELICIOUS~" and "THIS LOOK SUITS YOU, OLIN." "REALLY!I" "MY GOODNESS!" while Otama sweats and questions "SORRY, OLIN, THAT'S ALL THERE IS." "WHAT...I" Suddenly Olin's face twists in rage: "GYAAH! THE DINO-MAN'S BACK!!" "LEAVE US ALONE! WE'VE ALREADY GOT ENOUGH ON OUR PLATE!!" She roars "SO, KAIDO'S UNDERLINGS ARE RESPONSIBLE!! THEY DID THAT TO THE TOWN THAT SHOWED ME HOSPITALITYI!"

Explosive action erupts as a dinosaur-like creature smashes through the ground with "KACHON" and impact effects. Olin yells "YOU INGRATES... THE PIRATE WORLD MAY BE CRUEL," while the beast roars "TOO LATE! IT'S CURTAINS FOR YOU!" "GYAA AAAH!!" and "BIG MOM! GREAT TIMING! DON'T LET THOSE MAGGOTS GET PAST YOU!!" "KOMACHIYO, RUN!!" A small cloud-like creature cheers "OH! THAT WAS MAMA! SHE'S ALIVE!! THANK GOODNESS!!" as onlookers react "BIG MOM MUST BE BACK THERE!!" and "PAGE ONE-SAMAI!" Ulti appears, exclaiming "THIS IS BAD, ULTI-SAMA!!" and "ULTI APPEARS!!" In the massive central panel, Olin (Big Mom) towers over the dinosaur, declaring "BUT THERE ARE STILL STANDARDS!!" and "DAMN VERMIN!!" as the creature struggles beneath her. The page footer reads "ONE PIECE CH. 1011" with "BREAK! NEXT WEEK."
