TL NOTES page. Elbaph/Elbaf: This week Elbaph was romanized with the -ph spelling for the first time within the manga's art work itself. We have decided not to update at this time due to the inconsistency it would cause in our previous chapters. We hope to fix all the previous chapters in one batch at the end of the arc, assuming no new information presents itself. A small inset panel shows a ship labeled ELBAPH with a dragon figurehead and a Japanese SFX ゴゴゴ. Samuwanai: Can literally mean "not chilly." We believe it's just a pun on 寒くない (samukunai). Hokkaido has a few place names that end in ~nai, so maybe it's a joke contrasting the cold of Hokkaido with the tropical nature of our South Seas (South Blue).
