Chapter 381 summary
The Straw Hats and their allies face soldiers on the main island of Enies Lobby. Zoro and Sanji argue over bounties while Sogeking tries to intervene. Soldiers fire on the wrecked Rocket Man, but Kokoro, Chimney, and Gonbe tumble out and are mistaken for hostages, halting further shots. Nami emerges from the smoke with her Perfect Clima Tact, summons a cloud, and unleashes Thunder Bolt Tempo that strikes the soldiers along with some of her own group. The crew spots Luffy fighting ahead and moves toward the sounds of battle. Luffy presses forward alone through waves of defenders until half the soldiers are ordered to the front gate. At the gate the Hou-Bantai forms a defensive line, but the rescuers charge on the King Bull Gomorrah. Sanji tells Sogeking to relay the message that boarders are fired, Galley-La knocks the Hou-Bantai away with rope attacks, and the rear guard holds the line so the forward party can continue deeper into the island.
