Chapter 481 summary
The tower and mansion grounds of Thriller Bark stand wrecked after Luffy's attack, with Oars crushed into the rubble. The crowd believes Oars is defeated until Luffy shrinks back to normal size and Moria emerges conscious from the giant's body. Moria refuses to return the stolen shadows and instead absorbs them all from across the island. He gathers one thousand shadows into himself and swells into a massive grotesque form that begins tearing the mansion apart. Victims panic as sunlight leaks through and their bodies start disappearing, forcing many to flee toward the forest shadows. Lola stays behind while ordering her crew to escape, declaring it her duty as captain. The Straw Hats remain in place as Moria loses control. Luffy stands before him and says there is no more time and that he will show Moria a nightmare.
