Chapter 657 summary
On the burning side of Punk Hazard, Luffy wears the samurai's lower half like a pair of legs and celebrates being a centaur while Usopp and Robin react with disapproval. The group spots the island's split geography, with snowy mountains and ice on the far side, and realizes the samurai's missing upper half must lie there. A bird-like human figure crashes from the sky as the scene shifts to the captured crew. Sanji, Franky, Chopper, and Nami wake inside a locked room marked DECK-102 on the icy side of the island after being gassed aboard the Sunny. They reassemble a talking severed head from scattered pieces on the floor, and the head reveals it was sliced apart by an unknown enemy yet survived to complete an important task. The head refuses to cooperate upon learning they are pirates and objects to Nami's manner and clothing. Nami deduces their location on the island's frozen half. Franky blasts the door open with his Radical Beam, and the group steps out to escape.
