Killua leans in and declares their primary objective is Greed Island. The other character questions whether he has forgotten that goal or changed plans. Killua confirms exactly. Gon reacts with surprise and announces he has a secret plan about the game. The other character wonders if they should focus on earning money instead, noting the Southern Peace Auctions start the day after tomorrow. Gon insists it is a secret. In a later panel someone is struck with multiple 'ARAGH' sound effects while Gon protests the plan is safe. The other character tells him not to play games. Gon affirms he has a plan and suggests they follow the Ryodan a little longer, asking the other to trust him about the game.

Gon stares forward with a serious expression, sweat on his cheek, and says, "I would say 70%..." In the next panel Killua stands with his hands behind his head and asks, "What percent is there that it'll work" and "How likely do you think it is to succeed?" Someone off-panel answers, "Approximately." Killua reacts with wide eyes and a shout of "70?!" while another voice suggests "Probably 60%..." Kurapika appears in close-up, hand near his mouth, and states, "6 billion in 2 days... seems like a realistic number..." and "Roughly 50/50." The scene shifts to a large hall where Gon, Killua, and Kurapika stand together. Gon pumps his fist and yells, "Yeah!" Kurapika explains, "We have to have Kurapika's help. But you know that with only the two of us against the Ryodan, we won't be able to do much..." Killua replies, "Okay. I'll let you take care of the game."

A full-page illustration shows a young woman with shoulder-length light hair standing in an urban street setting. She wears a sleeveless shirt featuring a printed image of Killua seated with a gun and Gon standing beside him, both in dark suits and ties. The woman has a neutral expression with eyes half-closed. Under a heavily clouded sky, Leorio sits casually on a ledge outside a large multi-story building, one leg propped up as he speaks with Kurapika. In a lower panel, Kurapika stands in a hallway facing a short figure with an X-marked outfit. Leorio remarks, "I couldn't get anything." The figure replies, "So?" Leorio continues in a large speech bubble, "I tried to get more information on today's auction, but the community hasn't made any advertisements yet." Kurapika, now visible in the foreground with spiky hair, responds that the group will do everything possible to avoid a direct confrontation. Leorio counters firmly, "Now that they know they come from... No." In a split panel, Leorio gestures with his hand raised, theorizing aloud, "What if you tell them they were fooled, and all the members of the Ryodan are actually alive? They might change their point of view if they heard that, right?"

Leorio and Kurapika stand face to face in close-up. Kurapika states, "But that's not what I want to know." Leorio asks sharply, "Will the auction really go on? That's what I'm interested in finding out." In the next panel Leorio presses, "You want to go and face them? Don't tell me..." Kurapika replies, "You misunderstand something, Leorio." Leorio reacts with alarm, "You wanna fight them without the help of the mafia? You're insane!" The scene shifts to a tiled hallway where Kurapika, Leorio, Gon, and Killua walk together. Kurapika says, "We wanna help too." Leorio calls out, "Kurapika!" In a final close-up, Kurapika's profile is shown as Leorio declares, "I never received help from the mafia."

Gon faces Kurapika and answers simply, "Yes." Kurapika, seen from behind, continues, "You do know that there's no longer a reward involved." In the next panel Killua stares seriously while Gon looks on, and a thought bubble reads "Refuse... Refuse..." Killua then declares, "Tell us what to do and we'll do it." Kurapika replies firmly, "And that hasn't changed." Gon adds with determination, "I wanna stop them." The three boys react with surprise as Gon exclaims "EH! OH!" A quiet panel shows the girl with long hair standing silently. In a dramatic close-up the girl stares forward with wide eyes and states, "We might die." The boys react in shock: Gon looks worried, Kurapika turns his head, Killua's eyes widen, and Gon finally shouts while clutching his head, "ARGH! DON'T ADD FUEL TO THE FIRE...!"

In a spacious room Gon, Killua, and Kurapika sit while Kurapika stands and points, saying, "First, we need someone to keep an eye on their hide-out. And to keep us informed." The white-haired girl in a dark outfit replies, "Let's finalize our strategy." Killua asks, "Is he serious?" and Gon answers enthusiastically, "Yeah!!" Gon then volunteers, "I'll take care of that." The white-haired girl confirms, "OK." Kurapika states, "We're not interested in the others. Our objective is Pakunoda, and only Pakunoda." Leorio appears in a suit looking surprised and asks, "What? Leorio? Could you do that?" The white-haired girl answers, "Next, I need a driver." She continues, "Don't worry, I won't take any unnecessary risks. You'll have to be extremely prudent." Leorio protests loudly, "HEY! Killua! Are you implying that I'm afraid?!" while the white-haired girl reassures, "Don't worry, with Kurapika at your side, you don't have to be afraid. You can be sure of that."

Gon, Killua, and Kurapika sit together discussing their risky strategy. Kurapika explains the roles: "That's the role of the trouble-maker. You'll be in charge of keeping them distracted. And me?" Gon asks about his part. Kurapika replies that it depends on the means their enemy uses. Killua protests, "Wait a minute!! That's a really dangerous mission! That means he'll have to confront them again!" Kurapika states they will take advantage of the moment their enemies turn their attention to Gon to kidnap Pakunoda and flee. "It's very simple," he adds. Gon looks uncertain with a question mark above his head. In the worst-case scenario, Kurapika says half a second or one second would be perfect to get their attention. He trusts Gon to handle it and notes there are too many unstable factors for him to create a better plan. Gon agrees with a simple "Yes." Kurapika confirms one second is enough.

Kurapika asks if getting the enemies' attention to waver for a second is possible. Gon stares intently, thinking. A small panel shows Killua saying "Gon..." Gon stands on a surface near a motorcycle with an unseen figure, tapping his foot. Kurapika confirms Gon is the key to the plan and asks if he can handle that. Gon replies he does not know but will think about it. A clock shows six hours left until the auction. Kurapika notes that if the auction continues as planned, the Ryodan should make their move, though it is possible they have already moved. Gon sits with a straw in his mouth, looking thoughtful.

Kurapika leans in close, his long blonde hair framing his intense expression as he questions the sudden change. Gon, wide-eyed and spiky-haired, responds with a small smile. "WHY IS IT YOU'VE SUDDENLY DECIDED TO ACCEPT OUR HELP?" Gon adds, "BY THE WAY, I MIGHT BE ABLE TO BUY SOME TIME." Kurapika replies firmly, "EVEN IF IT REQUIRES A SACRIFICE. WE HAVE TO SETTLE PAKUNODA'S CASE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. THE FIRST REASON IS THAT THE THREAT TO ME HAS INCREASED AGAIN." A man in round sunglasses and a dark suit glares with fierce determination, declaring, "EVEN STRONGER THAN BEFORE!!!! I CAN FEEL YOUR DETERMINATION." In the background, Gon and another figure react as someone murmurs, "WHEN YOU SPEAK... KURA-PIKA..." Kurapika turns sharply toward Gon in the dim light, his eyes serious. "POINT A NEN BLADE AT ME AS WELL," he states. Gon stares back, finger raised, and answers, "KURAPIKA." A shocked "!!" reaction bubble appears near Kurapika.

Hisoka stands centered against radiating black speed lines, his muscular frame highlighted by jagged white energy aura. He wears a sleeveless shirt marked with large spade symbols on chest and shoulder, a black diamond on the abdomen. His face bears the signature star and teardrop makeup, hair wildly spiked. One hand holds a dark card while the other rests on his hip in a confident pose, exuding overwhelming presence.
