Footsteps tap rhythmically along a striped floor as several people walk forward. A young woman in a cap stands with eyes closed, hand raised to her head, listening intently. She speaks: "I can still hear voices coming from that area. With the noise of the rain, sounds are harder to hear, but... Yeah. But on the 3rd, when Shalnark checked the site, they supposedly checked out. Takurui Beach Hotel was one of the places the Nostrade clan registered, right? There's at least one woman. From the sounds of footsteps, there's 5 or 6 of them. They're clever." A devastated scene shows bodies on the ground amid rubble and impact marks with "ZAT" and "ZAAAAA" sound effects. The woman continues: "That's because it's my specialty." Beside her, a hooded figure replies, "Wow! Gon and I trained a lot, but I still can't hear anything. They're going in the opposite direction."

Kurapika walks ahead down a rainy street while a figure in a white coat follows at a distance. Gon appears with a surprised expression marked by a question mark. Gon and the woman in the cap discuss: "Since he asked for my help, Kurapika must really be in a tight situation. Of course. Yeah... He'd do everything alone if he could, right?" The woman explains her ability: "Even if I'm near you, they remain 'estinto.'" Gon reacts with shock: "Ex- How'd you know? Aren't you an assassin?" She replies, "You're the most silent person I've met. You're skilled. Ah... It's a habit I haven't lost, moving silently." They continue walking through the rain as Gon processes the information.

Kurapika Gon Senritsu Killua

In the pouring rain, Gon dashes ahead while Kurapika and Killua follow closely behind. "STOP!" someone calls out. Kurapika asks, "Are you sure?" Killua replies, "I don't really enjoy it, but... I can see why Kurapika is counting on you." The group trails a crowd of people holding umbrellas along a city street. A voice notes, "This road... 100 meters from here. At the end of the street." Keeping their distance, Killua observes the pedestrians and remarks, "Keeping this distance between us and them, it's useless to use Zetsu, there's no risk they'd see us." Gon responds with wide eyes, "Incredible. No need of a system." Killua continues, "Each has his own unique way of walking. Small differences." Kurapika asks, "You can tell despite all these people?" From a high vantage point overlooking the street below, a long-haired figure in a hat smiles and says, "I'll check if our target's there." Another voice instructs, "Wait here for a few minutes."

Gon Killua Kurapika

"She's not alone," he adds. Killua responds, "Yeah." Gon then spots something and calls out, "Killua? The one we're looking for is here." A sudden "GULP!" reaction panel shows shock. In a wide establishing shot of a rainy city street lined with buildings and storefronts, a hooded figure in a dark coat with a reversed cross on the back stands on an overpass, arms crossed. The figure speaks: "And our friend, the bearded man, is here too. There's also a guy we didn't see yesterday."

Leorio speeds south in his car as a voice commands him. Gon and Senritsu watch from a train window. Senritsu notes a station ahead and asks if they can board the same train as their targets. She adds that crowding depends on luck. Inside the station, Gon and Senritsu confirm the captives were taken by the same train heading to Kastour Station. Senritsu keeps her distance while staying in the same car. On the crowded platform and inside the train car, passengers sit and stand as the train departs with a loud rattle.

Leorio Gon Senritsu

Gon confirms the auction is on the downtown side, matching their hotel direction. Senritsu identifies Kastour Station. At the station, Senritsu reads while a man in a robe passes with others. Killua appears among the crowd. The group heads down an escalator toward the Salome department store. Killua notices the targets have gotten off at Ripa Station instead, reacting with surprise as a phone rings.

Kurapika stands at a reception desk holding a phone to his ear. A voice on the line calls out, "KURAPIKA? WHAT'S GOING ON?" followed by "HELLO ?"
