The One Piece logo dominates the top of the page with the chapter title below it: CHAPTER 1026: TENNŌZAN: TURNING POINT. The main illustration shows Nami kneeling in a clothing boutique called HAUTE COUTURE NAOMI, smiling as she measures a cheerful young lion mink child standing on a box. The child wears a shirt reading I AM LI ON with a sun-like emblem. A large lion man with a curly mane sits nearby watching, while a small bear-like mink in a matching I AM LI ON shirt stands beside the child. T-shirts with the same emblem hang on display racks. In the Flower Capital of Wano, a massive fiery dragon-like silhouette soars above the distant mountains as the Fire Festival blazes on. The streets below are packed with celebrating citizens under striped lanterns. A young girl in a spotted kimono, Otama, laughs and waves a fan while being lifted by an unseen person. Nearby, a woman in a kimono cries out in panic, "FORGIVE ME, MASTER!!" A stern samurai with a topknot demands, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING, OTAMAI!" while another figure asks, "ARE YOU HAVING FUNI" Otama replies happily, "YEAH!!" as music and cheers fill the festive night.

The scene shifts to a tense rooftop exchange. A cloaked figure pleads, "PLEASE LET OTAMA BE SAFE..." while another warns, "OUT OF THE QUESTION!! GET BACK HERE!!" and a third insists, "DON'T WORRY, WE'LL PROTECT HER!" and "I CAN'T JUST SIT HERE AND DO NOTHING!" Far below, a massive explosion erupts in the sky. A report arrives: "I HAVE AN UPDATE ON THE MYSTERIOUS SECOND DRAGON!!" The sky rumbles as a voice notes, "THERE IS NO TELLING NOW THAT SHE'S OUT AT SEA..." Then comes the shocking sight: "AN UNBELIEVABLE SIGHT IS PLAYING OUT IN THE SKIES ABOVE!!" followed by "...ON THE ROOF, INJURED!!" and the urgent message "MASTER YAMATO IS ALONE..."

Two enormous dragons clash violently in the stormy sky, one dark and one pale, with the sound effect "ビドン!!" The narration declares, "THE TWO DRAGONS ARE SQUARING OFF!!" A voice identifies, "KAIDO-SAMA, THE AZURE SEIRYU..." Below, a bandaged man and a blonde woman react with shock. Luffy, riding the pink dragon, glares fiercely as the text states, "...IS BEING CHALLENGED BY THE PINK DRAGON... RIDDEN BY 'STRAW HAT' LUFFY!!" The bandaged man shouts, "I WOULD ACTUALLY BE USEFUL TO THE OTHERS!!" while the woman stares in disbelief. Another observer growls, "BUT THERE'S NO DOUBT IT'S HOSTILE!!" concluding that Yamato must have been keeping Kaido busy and that "THE DRAGON'S IDENTITY IS STILL UNKNOWN..."

The dragon-form Momonosuke faces Kaido's massive dragon head as an ally shouts, "ALL RIGHT! COUNTER IT WITH YOUR OWN BREATH!" Another warns, "HE'S ABOUT TO USE HIS FIRE BREATH!" Momonosuke panics, "WHAAATI! I CAN'T DO THAT!!" Kaido unleashes a devastating point-blank blast. "BLAST BREATH!!!" Momonosuke screams in pain, "GYAAAH!" Below, Luffy sits on the smaller dragon's head and calls out, "HEY, MOMO!!" Momonosuke, battered and smoking, replies weakly, "R-REMEM-BER... I'M IN NO POSITION TO FIGHT RIGHT NOW!"

Luffy's attack lands with explosive force, "GUN!!" The impact shatters stone and sends debris flying. Luffy shouts desperately, "BITE KAIDO!!" while Momonosuke's dragon form struggles nearby. Below, the floating island's structures crack and tilt as a sign labels "TREASURE REPOSITORY DOME INTERIOR." Momonosuke pants, "PANT... Nekomamushi's sulong form towers over the battlefield near a grand building, declaring, "I PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE STANDING NOW!!" and "IF I HAD TAKEN ANOTHER HIT..." while a cloaked figure watches. He adds, "MINE'S JUST BETTER-PERORIN♪" as Carrot in sulong form fights nearby, taunting, "DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT THE MOON, YOU FAT CAT! IT'S NOT THAT YOUR LUCK IS BAD." Smaller panels show Luffy and others reacting. Carrot cries out, "HE'S NO LONGER IN HIS SULONG FORM! MASTER NEKOMA-MUSHI!" Below, Kin'emon and allies charge forward shouting "MOMO!!" and "MOMO-NOSUKE-SAMAI!" as chaos erupts with "HUUHI!" and impact effects.

Kaido's dragon form looms as a voice yells, "YOU JUST BIT ONE OF THE FOUR EMPERORS!!" Luffy stands defiant in the center, shouting, "DOES ANYTHING IN THE WORLD STILL SEEM SCARY TO YOUI!" and "AFTER DOING THAT..." Yamato watches nearby. Allies rally: "STOP ONIGASHIMA IN ITS TRACKS!!" "RIGHT!!" "THEN GO!! YOU CAN FLY!!" Luffy's group debates, "THERE'S NO WAY..." "YEAH, BUT THAT DRAGON COULDN'T HAVE BEEN..." "DID HE JUST SAY MOMOI" Yamato gasps, "NO!" and "N-" as Momonosuke's dragon appears in the distance.

The Beast Pirate in the polka-dot hat glares furiously and shouts, "YOU WERE SAYING SOMETHING ABOUT LUCKI" while another voice snaps, "NOT ANOTHER WORD!!" A victim screams "OWAA AAAAA!!" as they are blasted away. In a colossal panel, a horned figure unleashes a devastating strike marked "BOOM!!" that tears through the clouds.
